URGENT NEWS! Escalating Middle East Tensions — Are We Witnessing the World Preparing for the Fulfillment of End Times Bible Prophecy? Let’s Investigate (KJV)

Is the World Moving Closer to the Events Described in Revelation?

I would like to bring something to your attention that I believe deserves our careful consideration.

As we watch the news coming out of the Middle East, we are witnessing an increasingly dangerous confrontation involving Israel, Iran, the United States, and other nations throughout the region.

Military threats, attacks on oil tankers, growing international tensions, and urgent diplomatic negotiations are raising serious concerns about the possibility of a much larger war.

But here is the question I would like us to consider:

Could these developments be preparing the world for the events that Jesus Christ warned us would take place before His Second Coming?

Before we investigate, I want to emphasize something important. We should never claim that a particular news event fulfills biblical prophecy unless the Scriptures clearly support that conclusion.

However, Jesus did instruct His followers to watch, remain spiritually prepared, and recognize the conditions He described.

Let’s investigate what is happening and compare it with the King James Version of the Bible.

1. BREAKING NEWS — The Middle East Is Becoming Increasingly Dangerous

As of October 30, 2026, reports indicate that tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States remain extremely serious.

Consider several new developments:

  • Iran and the Strait of Hormuz: Iran’s Revolutionary Guards reported that four oil tankers caught fire or exploded in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Reuters could not independently verify all of Iran’s claims, although maritime authorities separately reported attacks on vessels.
  • The United States and Israel: Concerns are growing about the possibility of renewed military strikes against Iran, although no final American decision to launch another major offensive has been publicly confirmed.
  • Regional instability: Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar, and other countries have been involved in diplomatic efforts to prevent the conflict from expanding.
  • The possibility of a larger war: Fighting involving Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen has added to fears that hostilities could spread throughout the region.
  • Global economic concerns: Attacks on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz threaten international oil supplies and could have serious consequences for countries far beyond the Middle East, even the United States.

Now consider something remarkable.

Nearly 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ warned His disciples that wars and international turmoil would characterize the period leading toward the end.

Matthew 24:6–7 (KJV)

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

Doesn’t this sound familiar?

We are hearing about wars, threats of additional wars, international instability, and concerns about shortages of essential resources.

But notice the words of Jesus:

“See that ye be not troubled.”

Our Savior did not give us these warnings to fill our hearts with fear. He gave them so that we would remain spiritually prepared.

2. Why Is Israel So Important in End Times Prophecy?

Of all the nations mentioned in biblical prophecy, Israel holds a particularly significant place.

The Old Testament contains numerous prophecies concerning Jerusalem, the Jewish people, and future conflicts involving surrounding nations.

One particularly interesting prophecy is found in Zechariah.

Zechariah 12:2–3 (KJV)

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

Think about those words.

“A cup of trembling” and “a burdensome stone.”

Jerusalem remains one of the most disputed and politically sensitive cities in the world.

Decisions involving Israel frequently affect relationships between major world powers.

From the perspective of many Christians who study end-times prophecy, these developments make Zechariah’s words especially interesting.

However, the passage describes a particular future confrontation. Today’s political tensions should not automatically be declared its complete fulfillment.

Nevertheless, Jerusalem is certainly a city worth watching as we study biblical prophecy.

3. Could Iran Be Connected to the Coming War Described in Ezekiel?

Now we come to something particularly interesting.

Did you know that the Bible specifically mentions Persia, the ancient name associated with modern-day Iran, in a prophecy describing a great future conflict?

Ezekiel 38:5 (KJV)

“Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:”

Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 describe a future invasion involving a coalition of nations.

The prophecy identifies Gog, of the land of Magog, along with Persia and several other countries.

Many Bible prophecy teachers believe this invasion will occur during the end-times period, before or soon after the 7-year tribulation period begins.

Some also associate Gog and Magog with regions connected to modern Russia, although the precise modern identities of these ancient names remain debated.

Here is what makes today’s news particularly interesting:

Iran, historically called Persia, is directly involved in a major confrontation with Israel and the United States.

Does that mean Ezekiel 38 is being fulfilled today?

Not necessarily, but some of us think that it is very much so.

The presence of Persia in this prophecy gives Christians an understandable reason to pay attention to developments involving Iran.

And that brings us to an even more remarkable passage. This is an important piece in the End-times prophecy picture.

4. God Himself Will Intervene in the Battle Described by Ezekiel

Ezekiel does not merely describe a conflict between powerful nations.

He describes the intervention of Almighty God.

Ezekiel 38:22–23 (KJV)

“And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.”

What an extraordinary prophecy! The passage describes that GOD HIMSELF will create a situation in which human military power will not determine the ultimate outcome.

Now let’s put that in perspective. God wants to show the world HIS power. He will be doing something so incredible that people will KNOW that it could only have come from God. Where do you think that would fit in the 7-year Tribulation Period, and what would be the purpose?

So, we have concluded that God’s PURPOSE: He wants both Israel and the Gentile nations to recognize who He is. Perhaps an announcement of WHO just joined the fight, for the final battle between good and evil.

Where does this battle Fit?

I’ve saved this clue for right now.

Ezekiel 39:9 (KJV)

“And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:”

And, there is the answer to the timing of the Gog-Magog war. We know that the Tribulation Period will last for SEVEN years. If we have been told that these weapons would burn for SEVEN years, that places the Gog-Magog war Before or very near the start of the SEVEN-Year Tribulation Period. RIGHT ABOUT NOW!!

God Himself will demonstrate His authority before the nations.

What a wonderful reminder that God remains in control!

5. Could the Strait of Hormuz Crisis Lead to Worldwide Economic Distress?

Now let’s consider another aspect of the developing crisis.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most strategically important waterways in the world.

A substantial portion of the world’s oil and natural gas supplies normally passes through this narrow passage.

Continued attacks on commercial shipping could contribute to higher energy prices, supply disruptions, and additional economic hardship, just like we are currently witnessing.

Why is this interesting from a biblical perspective?

Because the Book of Revelation describes a period of severe economic distress.

Revelation 6:5–6 (KJV)

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

Prophecy interpreters understand this passage to describe extreme food scarcity and the high cost of basic necessities during the Tribulation.

Imagine a world in which obtaining enough food for a family becomes an enormous financial burden. This prophecy reminds us how vulnerable human societies can become when conflict disrupts essential supplies.

What Does This Mean for the Rapture of the Church?

For those of us who believe in the pre-Tribulation Rapture, this information is quite telling.

We believe the Lord will gather His Church to Himself before the period of divine wrath associated with the Tribulation.

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

What an incredible promise!

One day, every person who belongs to Jesus Christ will be gathered to be with Him forever.

God is planning on rescuing those who are “in Christ” BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation period even begins. And, can’t you see how close we are to this period starting?

More important that stockpiling supplies to prepare for what is coming, BE CERTAIN that you are IN CHRIST first. Do you know that you can do this IMMEDIATELY?

Being “In Christ” and being “Born Again” describe the same spiritual transformation.

When a person becomes born again, they are spiritually made new through faith in Jesus Christ, their sins are forgiven, and they receive the gift of eternal life. They are now “In Christ,” meaning they belong to Him and have a new relationship with God.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

How Does a Person Become Born Again?

A person becomes born again by recognizing they are a sinner, repenting, and placing their faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation—believing that He died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Salvation (living with God forever) is God’s gift of grace, received through faith, not earned through good works, baptism, or religious ceremonies.

Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

John 3:3 (KJV)

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The beautiful truth is that when a person sincerely places their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, they become born again, are now “In Christ,” and receive the promise of eternal life!

When you are “in Christ” you can know that you will be included in God’s rescue plan of the Rapture. You also can be assured that you will live with God, FOREVER in HEAVEN.

You do not have to worry about all of the terrible things that are coming during the seven-year tribulation period. You do not need to worry if you will go to heaven or not, SIMPLY by becoming Born Again – RIGHT NOW!

It does require effort on your part. Study and Know about the atonement of Jesus Christ as taught in the bible.

It is just between you and God, through prayer that this new birth can occur.

In prayer, tell God that you realize that you are a sinner, and need the atonement of Jesus Christ into your life to be forgiven of your sins. Accept this atonement, for it is not forced upon any of us, and we must choose it due to our own free agency. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is your Savior, and have faith in Him. Repent for the things that you have done wrong, and ask for His forgiveness.

Then, this is what will immediately happen to you:

When a person becomes Born Again, they experience a spiritual rebirth through faith in Jesus Christ.

Their sins are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7),

They become a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17),

The Holy Spirit comes to dwell within them (1 Corinthians 6:19).

They are adopted into God’s family as His children (John 1:12),

Receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23),

They are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).

They are no longer under condemnation (Romans 8:1), and their eternal salvation rests in Jesus Christ. Being Born Again means passing from spiritual death into everlasting life.

There is nothing special that you need to do in preparing for the rapture, other than being born again. God will find you wherever you are, and complete the process without you having to do anything special.

There are several events that can produce anxiety, however there is one event that can remove all anxiety all together…Becoming Born Again. I invite you to do so if you have not already had this experience.

If you miss the rapture, unfortunately, you will be right in the middle of the most terrifying 7-year period of time on earth. God is calling you, are you hearing His invitation?
