The Rapture and “Time Zones?” Interesting Scriptures That ALL Point to the Same Conclusion (KJV)

There are several scriptures that people refer to when they study the rapture. There are also some that are overlooked in their research, that contain key information. Let’s consider some of those overlooked scriptures right now.

Matthew 24:40–41 (KJV)

40 “Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Luke 17:34–36 (KJV)

34 “I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

Are you seeing something for the first time? Notice what these three different groups of people are doing at the time of the rapture:

  1. Be in the field. – ordinarily daylight working hours, when agricultural labor was performed.
  2. Grinding at the mill. – ordinarily domestic work, often associated with morning/daytime activity.
  3. Sleeping in bed. – Nighttime

This creates an intriguing picture: some are sleeping while others are apparently carrying on ordinary daily activities. Another observation—especially meaningful to modern readers—is that because Earth experiences day and night simultaneously in different locations, a worldwide event could find some people sleeping while others are working.

When the rapture happens, it will be at the same time for ALL of the World, regardless of where a person lives.

Here is another scripture that validates this conclusion.

1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV)

51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Taken together, these passages give the powerful picture of suddenness and separation: ordinary life is occurring, Christ comes unexpectedly, the dead “in Christ” are raised, living believers are changed “in the twinkling of an eye,” and they are “caught up…to meet the Lord in the air.”

Now, I am NOT sharing the following data to SHOW a TIME of the rapture, rather, I want to continue teaching this concept: “The Rapture taking place at ONE Time throughout the World, and SUDDENLY.”

The Feast of Trumpets will begin at the sighting of the new moon in Jeresulem, roughly at 6:50 PM in on September 11, 2026. At this time, it would be afternoon or morning across the Americas, while much of Asia and the western Pacific would already be in nighttime or the early hours of September 12.

Let’s take a look specific to some time zones. Approximate local times, at that same instant:

LocationLocal time
Jerusalem6:50 PM Fri
London4:50 PM Fri
New York11:50 AM Fri
Chicago10:50 AM Fri
Utah9:50 AM Fri
Los Angeles8:50 AM Fri
Tokyo12:50 AM Sat
Seoul12:50 AM Sat
Beijing11:50 PM Fri
Philippines11:50 PM Fri
Singapore11:50 PM Fri
Bangkok10:50 PM Fri
Sydney1:50 AM Sat
New Zealand3:50 AM Sat

So, given this information, there would be an enormous number of people literally in bed at that moment. Japan, Korea, eastern China, parts of Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and surrounding regions would be roughly in the 11 PM–4 AM range. There would also be people “grinding at the mill” as well as “being at the field.

These scriptures are not describing the same town with three different events. They are describing the world in different stages of the day/night.

The RAPTURE will occur at ONE SPECIFIC MOMENT across the entire world, although the local time shown on the clock will differ depending on where each person is located.

It will occur for all people being raptured, in an instant.

It is my own belief that we will all hear a trumpet make this declaration, and then it will be over just as quickly as it started Instantaneously.

Something that also intrigues me with these scriptures, is the point that it is making regarding two people in the same place, yet a different experience for each of them…”one taken, the other one left.”

Conclusions can be drawn that it doesn’t matter if you are in the exact location as someone who is taken, …Location will not make a difference.

To me, it also declares that not everyone will be raptured, regardless of anything that ties a person to this world. We find the requirement of who will be taken, and who is left in this scripture:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The DIFFERENCE is, Are you “in Christ, or not? Have you been Born Again as taught by Jesus, and recorded in the New Testament of the Bible?

This is how God will gather “His Children” through the rescue event to the rapture. This is the ONLY qualifier.

So, when you see people declare that the rapture has already started in a certain region of the world, you can easily dismiss this. YOU will know exactly when it will start and quickly be over, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, and are either quickly caught up, or can physically see the consequences of chaos that will soon follow, if you are left behind.

Even though the actual event of the Rapture will occur “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, its consequences will be dramatic, and ongoing. If pilots, drivers, equipment operators, or others responsible for transportation were suddenly caught up, airplanes, vehicles, and machinery could be left without their operators, resulting in accidents and widespread disruption across the world. The Rapture itself would happen in an instant, but the world left behind could immediately face confusion, tragedy, and unprecedented upheaval.

People will also quickly notice that all of the children are missing…GONE! And, I’m certain that panic will be the mood of the day or night for all who are left behind.

It is my hope that you will not be deceived by others claiming that the rapture has already begun, when it has not. YOU will know yourself. Even if you hear loud trumpet noises, which have been reported lately throughout different locations, do not conclude that those sounds are from God, announcing the gathering of his people.

REMEMBER, team evil is all about deception, and copying the events of God. I invite you to continue your studies of this import even that will soon take place.
