To the People of This Earth: I Must Warn You that Something Terrible is Coming—and Show You the Only Way to Escape It (KJV)

July 16, 2026 | www.gospelofjesuschrist.blog | River Wilde

If I were to tell you that something horrible is coming very soon, what would you think that I am referring to? War, financial market crash, meteor hitting the earth, people dying? Take a guess right now as to what you think that it might be.

Whatever you guessed, your answer is likely correct! Yes, almost everything terrible imaginable is coming, and will begin, in what I believe, will be a matter of days or weeks.

If I knew how you could avoid what was coming, would you be interested in hearing how to be removed from all of this even before it happens?

From my experience, I have learned that MANY people don’t even care, and have simply decided that the best way to deal with the future is simply to ignore it. Does this describe you? Sadly, it describes the majority of people.

But if you are one who really does care, then I certainly have something that is worth reading.

God has a plan, that He has had for thousands of years, which concerns the life that we are currently living, the Last Days. He told this plan to His prophets, and they recorded it so that you and I can know what is coming. All of these “prophecies” are recorded in the Bible, as well as God’s rescue plan for certain people.

God even told us that most people wouldn’t even care what is happening in the last days. Let me show you this.

 Matthew 24:37-39 (KJV)

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Jesus notes that just as people were focused on daily life—”eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage”—and ignored the warnings until the flood arrived, so too will it be when He returns to the earth a second time.

The passage emphasizes a lack of awareness and preparation for divine judgment.

The coming of the Son of man is described as sudden, echoing the unexpected arrival of the flood.

There are many “religious people” that think that Jesus will just come one day for His second coming, and that will be it. The world will end.

As one who has studied end times prophecy extensively, I can tell you that there is so much more to the “end-times,” and we are about to enter into the final 7 years on earth. This is called the Tribulation Period.

The Purpose of the Tribulation Period

The purpose of the tribulation period, a seven-year span of unprecedented distress described in biblical prophecy, is to accomplish two primary objectives:

For God to Defeat Evil Once and For All – By Extending His Final Judgment

To Bring Others to Jesus Christ through Incredible Hardships

Let’s look at God Judging evil first:

Romans 12:19 (KJV)

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Many people believe they can ignore God today and simply escape the consequences later. The Bible teaches the opposite. During the Tribulation, God’s judgment will extend over the entire earth, and no mountain, bunker, government, or hidden place will provide safety from His hand.

During the final years on earth, God will be pouring out His Bowls of Wrath upon all of the inhabitants on the earth, as PUNISHMENT for sin.

The seven bowls of God’s wrath are described primarily in Revelation 16 (KJV). They represent the final outpouring of God’s judgment during the Tribulation.

Revelation 15:1 (KJV)

“And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Revelation 15:7 (KJV)

“And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.”

The Seven Bowls of Wrath (Revelation 16)

First Bowl

Revelation 16:2 (KJV)

“And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.”

Second Bowl

Revelation 16:3 (KJV)

“And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.”

Third Bowl

Revelation 16:4–7 (KJV)

“And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.”

The angel declares that God’s judgments are righteous because those being judged had shed the blood of God’s people.

Fourth Bowl

Revelation 16:8–9 (KJV)

“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.”

Even under this judgment:

“And they repented not to give him glory.”

Fifth Bowl

Revelation 16:10–11 (KJV)

“And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness…”

Yet again:

“And repented not of their deeds.”

Sixth Bowl

Revelation 16:12–16 (KJV)

The Euphrates River is dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east.

Three unclean spirits gather the kings of the earth for the battle of Armageddon.

“And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Seventh Bowl

Revelation 16:17–21 (KJV)

The final bowl brings the greatest earthquake in human history, cities collapse, islands flee, mountains disappear, and massive hailstones fall from heaven.

“It is done.”

God’s Purpose in Pouring Out His Wrath

The Tribulation is not random destruction. Scripture presents it as God’s righteous judgment against persistent rebellion and unbelief.

Romans 2:5 (KJV)

“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.”

Nahum 1:2–3 (KJV)

“God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries… The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked.”

Throughout the Tribulation, God is not pouring out His judgments simply to punish the wicked. His righteous judgments also serve as a final, merciful call for people to humble themselves, repent, and turn to Jesus Christ while there is still time.

Although many will harden their hearts, countless others will recognize their need for the Savior and place their faith in Him. Even in the midst of unimaginable hardship, God’s desire is that sinners repent rather than perish. As the Lord declares,

“Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?… and not that he should return from his ways, and live? (Ezekiel 18:23, KJV).

Likewise,

“The Lord is… not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, KJV).

The Tribulation will reveal both God’s perfect justice and His incredible mercy, giving those who have rejected Him one final opportunity to humble themselves and trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ before His judgment is complete.

So, this is what is coming, plus SO MUCH MORE! Can I simply state that the 7-year Tribulation Period is NOT something that any of you would want to go through, and CAN BE AVOIDED if you will just do ONE THING TODAY.

The only true place of safety is found before that day arrives—by being born again through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Today is the day of grace. Let’s learn more about this: Being Born Again.

There is so much confusion on the earth today regarding the gospel of Jesus Christ. To be quite honest, there are even religions that cause a tremendous amount of it. That’s right…Churches are causing confusion regarding the gospel of Jesus Christ. How can I say this? Because I spent my entire life in a church that led me away from the true teaching of Christ, and definitely the teaching of how a person becomes Born Again.

God also foretold this in revelation:

Matthew 24:24 (KJV)

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Matthew 24:11 (KJV)

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

The “false prophet” of my church deceived many of the “very elect,” which included ME, and so many other very “righteous” members of that church. Many of which are still caught in the nets of deception.

I’ve come to realize this by studying the gospel that Jesus taught when He was actually on the earth, and stop listening to the false teachings of the church.

Here is what Jesus taught about being Born Again, as recorded in the New Testament. (Pay attention here, because this is what you will need to do to “qualify” for God’s rescue plan which we will discuss later.)

How to Be Born Again (KJV)

Jesus said:

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
—John 3:3 (KJV)

Being born again is not joining a church, becoming religious, being baptized, or trying to become a better person. It is a spiritual birth that God gives to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ. Here are His teachings.

Step 1: Realize That You Are a Sinner

The Bible teaches that every person has sinned and cannot earn heaven by being good.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
—Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Step 2: Understand the Penalty for Sin

Sin separates us from God and deserves judgment. Nothing that we can do ourselves removes that sin.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
—Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Step 3: Believe What Jesus Christ Did for You

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, took your place. He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. He paid the full price that you could never pay.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
—Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
—1 Corinthians 15:3–4 (KJV)

Step 4: Place Your Trust in Jesus Christ Alone

Stop trusting in your own goodness, religious works, religious ordinances, or church membership to save you. This is where MANY people snag up in becoming Born Again. You must know and believe that 100% of being saved from your sins belongs to Jesus Christ, and the atonement that He completed for us.

Your church, paying tithing, religious leadership or service, temple attendance, or anything else DOES NOT contribute towards your salvation. Salvation, (Living with Jesus Christ in Heaven Forever) is entirely a GIFT from Jesus Christ, and has nothing to do with anything else.

However, it is up to us to receive that gift of salvation. We accept this atonement by having complete faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross, and NOT through any of our good works.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
—Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.
—Titus 3:5 (KJV)

Our Good Works follow being “Born Again”. They are the FRUIT of salvation NOT the Root of it. Take some time here to ensure that you understand that going to “heaven” is 100% because of Jesus Christ’s atonement, and not anything that we have done or accomplished ourselves. OUR RESPONSIBILITY is to accept His Atonement by becoming Born Again. This is the MOST Important part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Christ’s sacrifice was so significant, and complete. All of the glory needs to go to Him… NOT your church, not yourself through your good works…ALL GLORY GOES TO HIM!!!!

The atonement was performed for all mankind, but it is not forced on anyone due to our free agency. A person must receive it, or reject it. If you don’t receive it by being Born Again, you are rejecting it. This again is our responsibility…it doesn’t just happen by itself; it requires this spiritual transformation of becoming born again.

Step 5: Receive Jesus Christ by Faith

The moment you believe on Him, God forgives your sins, gives you eternal life, give you His Holy Spirit, and you become His child.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
—John 1:12 (KJV)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
—Romans 10:13 (KJV)

Step 6: Confess Him as Your Lord

A true believer is not ashamed of Jesus Christ.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
—Romans 10:9 (KJV)

What Happens When You Are Born Again?

The instant you trust Christ:

  • Your sins are forgiven.
  • You receive eternal life.
  • The Holy Spirit comes to live within you.
  • You become a child of God.
  • You are made a new creation in Christ.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
—2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”
—Romans 8:1 (KJV)

The Simplicity of the Gospel

The thief on the cross had no opportunity to perform good works, be baptized, join a church, or participate in religious ordinances. He simply believed that Jesus was the Christ and placed his trust in Him.

Jesus answered:

“Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
—Luke 23:43 (KJV)

That same gift of salvation is available to you today. Jesus has already done everything necessary for your salvation. Your part is simply to believe on Him.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
—Acts 16:31 (KJV)

God’s Rescue Plan

Now, let me share some very comforting, exciting news with you. God’s plan for the final 7 years is NOT for those who have already come to Christ by being Born Again. So, BEFORE all of these awful things happen, He plans on rescuing all of those who are “in Christ” before this all takes place, in an event that is referred to as the “rapture.” Let me show you this prophecy right now:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

It states here that those “in Christ” will qualify for the rapture. First those who are dead, as they will be resurrected before ascending up to meet Christ in the air, and then those “in Christ” who are on the earth.

Because those Living on the earth at that time have not died yet, they will not be “resurrected” but their bodies will be “Changed” into the same perfect bodies. Here is a scripture that teaches this:

1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Jesus promised His apostles that He would come for “His People” in the last days. Let’s review this scripture teaching:

John 14:1–3 (KJV)

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Just like the scripture above states, “so shall we ever be with the Lord” “Where I am, there ye may also be.”

Evidence that the 7-year Tribulation Period is NOT for those “in Christ”

1 Thessalonians 5:9–10 (KJV)

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”

Those “in Christ” are not appointed to Gods wrath, and He intends to rescue them prior to pouring our His wrath.

Revelation 3:10

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

What the verse explicitly says

It describes:

  • An “hour of temptation” (a specific period of testing, not merely an isolated temptation).
  • It will “come upon all the world.”
  • Its purpose is “to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
  • Christ promises to “keep thee from” that hour.

What is the “hour of temptation”?

Many interpreters understand this to refer to the future seven-year Tribulation Period. They point to several observations:

  • It is worldwide, not local.
  • It is a defined period of time (“the hour”).
  • Its purpose is to test those who “dwell upon the earth,” a phrase used repeatedly in Revelation for those who remain in rebellion against God.

From this perspective, Revelation 3:10 is a promise that Christ will keep His church out of that period of worldwide judgment, or 7-year Tribulation Period.

So, in simple terms, what is the plan that God would like for you to do in preparation for the “end times?”

  1. Today, RIGHT NOW, become Born Again if you have not done this already.
  2. Repent of your sins through prayer. It is just between you and God, through Jesus Christ…NOT your church.
  3. Have Faith that you will be going to Heaven, and that you will be Raptured when this happens.

That’s it!!!! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is wonderfully simple. God never intended salvation to be complicated or attainable only by the highly educated or deeply religious. It is not earned by good works, church membership, religious ordinances, or personal righteousness. The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ did for us what we could never do for ourselves. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Whoever places their faith in Him alone receives forgiveness of sins and the free gift of eternal life.

I hope that you have found a way to find comfort in these troubling times. Please don’t just take my word as truth. Ask God for yourself to find all truth. Ask Him if the things that I have written today are indeed the words that Christ taught when He was on the earth? He will reveal all truth to you if you PLACE ALL of your TRUST in HIM, rather than a church, leader, or any other man or woman.

If you keep trusting in a church, or false prophet, you will continue being deceived. Break free of the deception that you are currently caught up in. From TODAY on, take back your spiritual learning and knowledge that you have relinquished to your church leaders, relying upon them to teach and guide you. They are deceiving you, and you are allowing that to continue happening.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV)

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”

This verse teaches believers to carefully examine, test, and evaluate every teaching, doctrine, prophecy, and spiritual claim according to God’s truth, rather than accepting something simply because it comes from a respected religious leader, tradition, or popular opinion.

1 John 4:1 (KJV)

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Jesus Christ taught His gospel while on the earth, and warned everyone that His gospel was complete, and that nothing further, or any teaching outside of His gospel should not be considered. Paul proclaimed this to be the case by stating this:

Galatians 1:8–9 (KJV)

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Not even an angel can CHANGE the gospel that Jesus taught.

With technology today, it is very simple to see what religious teachings are different from what Jesus taught as recorded in the New Testament. Have AI scan the New Testament for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Then have AI scan the doctrine taught by your church and have it compare the two. You will immediately see the differences. No more spiritual gymnastics, or false excuses by church apologists, just the truth compared to something that is not the same.

Don’t wait until after you see all of the children and many adults vanish due to the rapture to address this, for by then it will be too late, and you will have to learn the “hard way.” Your life will become increasingly difficult in order to humble you into finally becoming Born Again, and stop relying on your church or yourself for salvation.

I pray that all of you will find the urgency to become Born Again as described so beautifully in the New Testament. By doing so, you need not fear ANYTHING ever again, for you know EXACTLY how your story will end.
