An Investigation into the Evil Laughter I heard Last Night (KJV)

Today, I just shared a very personal story about what happened to me last night…Hearing an evil laugh, coming from nowhere, and producing a very dark environment for me in that room.

As with everything else, I simply cannot let this go without thoroughly investigating things further.

Can satan or his “angles” produce audible noises?

Can they control or influence a person’s mind into feeling that they experienced something, even if it didn’t actually happen?

Can this evil team produce visual miracles?

Can they possess, or enter into a person’s body? If so, how do they do this?

So, with my questions driving my studies…Let’s get after it!

For me, my source of truth is found in the scriptures. I have come to rely on them in almost every aspect of my life lately, and this is no different.

I quickly found two examples that seemed to get things started in a very telling way. Scripture does show that satan can communicate, speak, and influence people, sometimes through those they possess or deceive.

In the following scripture, satan speaks to Eve through the serpent:

“And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Genesis 3:1, KJV)

Satan also spoke to Jesus during His temptation in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1–11). Demons are likewise recorded as speaking through possessed individuals:

“And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God?” (Matthew 8:29, KJV)

These passages demonstrate that satan and demons can communicate intelligibly. Whether they produce independent audible sounds themselves or speak through a physical medium is not clearly explained in Scripture. The Bible’s emphasis is less on how they speak and more on the danger of their deception.

For believers, the focus is not on the capabilities of Satan, but on Christ’s authority over him.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7, KJV)

Even though I understand this, I want to continue learning of these capabilities that he has, as a way to expose deception, when it happens to me; And, so that you can know as well.

I’ve always been taught that satan cannot possess a person’s body of those who are resistant to him. But, if he can possess a body, like we have learned from the prophecy of the antichrist, how does this happen?

The Bible shows that Satan or evil spirits can gain control over a person in varying degrees, but it does not provide a step-by-step formula for how possession occurs. Scripture emphasizes that Satan seeks influence through deception, temptation, and rebellion against God.

One of the clearest examples is Judas Iscariot:

“And after the sop Satan entered into him.” (John 13:27 KJV)

(A “sop” was a piece of bread that had been dipped into a dish or sauce and then given to someone during a meal.)

“Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot…” (Luke 22:3, KJV)

Judas had already chosen a path of unbelief, greed, and betrayal before Satan entered into him. The Bible also records people possessed by devils who exhibited unusual behavior, torment, self-destructive actions, or supernatural strength (Mark 5:1–13 KJV).

Believers are warned not to give the devil an opportunity:

“Neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27 KJV)

The Bible teaches that Christians who are truly born again are indwelt by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV). So, just how important is the Holy Spirit?

The Bible does not directly say, “The Holy Spirit prevents Satan from entering a person,” but it does teach that believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and belong to God.

1 John 4:4 (KJV) says:

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

For a born-again believer, the Holy Spirit dwells within them, and they are sealed by God:

Ephesians 1:13 (KJV)

“…after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

Ephesians 4:30 (KJV)

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Because the believer is God’s possession and is sealed by the Holy Spirit, many Christians understand these verses to mean that Satan cannot possess a true believer in the way he entered Judas (John 13:27), who was not a born-again believer. However, Satan can still tempt, deceive, oppress, and influence believers, which is why Scripture warns:

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

The Antichrist – Details of Possession

Some students of prophecy believe the Antichrist will be a man completely possessed by Satan. Others believe he will be a man uniquely empowered and directed by Satan without necessarily being possessed in the same manner as Judas. The Bible clearly teaches the source of his authority is Satan, but it stops short of describing the exact mechanics.

For believers, the encouraging truth is that Satan’s power is limited by God. The Antichrist’s rise occurs only within God’s prophetic timetable, and Jesus Christ will ultimately destroy him:

“…whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.” (2 Thessalonians 2:8, KJV)

No matter how powerful the Antichrist appears, his reign is temporary, while Christ’s kingdom is eternal.

Performing Miracles

Satan can, and will, perform lying signs, wonders, and miracles, but they are not the same as God’s holy miracles. Scripture warns that Satan has supernatural power and uses it to deceive.

2 Thessalonians 2:9–10 (KJV) says of the coming Antichrist:

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish…”

Jesus also warned:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
Matthew 24:24 (KJV)

In the Old Testament, Pharaoh’s magicians were able to imitate some of the miracles performed through Moses:

“And the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments…”
Exodus 7:11 (KJV)

The False Prophet of Revelation will also perform astonishing signs:

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.”
Revelation 13:13 (KJV)

The Bible therefore teaches that Satan can produce supernatural signs and wonders, but his purpose is always deception, never salvation. God’s miracles point people to truth and glorify Jesus Christ, while Satan’s wonders are designed to lead people away from the truth. That is why believers are told to “try the spirits” (1 John 4:1) and test everything against the Word of God rather than judging solely by signs and miracles.

So then… I heard a real sound last night in my room, that I feel was created by some entity from the dark side. I felt real feelings of darkness that were associated with the laughter. I am satisfied with the teachings of the scriptures in identifying some of the truths of my experience.

This experience ultimately served as proof of the powerful threat that the gospel of Jesus Christ presents to the adversary. I WILL NOT COWER in fear, nor shall I stop sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in spite of this satanic flex. It has given me additional fuel to fill my tank, and a stronger desire proceed with greater conviction.

The veil right now for me is paper thin. I will not share any details, but I know that additional hardships are coming my way, because I am teaching the TRUTH, and exposing Deception. I have been preparing for this for several months now, and am eternally grateful for my God in providing additional direction, and protection. I fear no man.

I will be taking some time away from my computer, and unable to write for a short time. Just know that I am enjoying the beauty of God’s creations here on earth, and exploring some beautiful mountains.

I will be praying for all of you while I am gone, as well as seeking His influence regarding the teachings that He would want me to share when I return.

I am at peace. I am excited for the “new life” that lies in wait, for those who will be taken in the rapture. Our earthly mission is nearing completion, and I know that God will see all of us through to the very end, regardless of any hardships.

I will certainly try not to get the sound of Harley Pipes confused with the sound of His Trumpets, for that will be the sound that I have been longing to hear.

See ya soon…
