Something very interesting is happening again in the Middle East.
After nearly three years in which war, terrorism, Iran, Gaza, and regional instability seemed to push the Abraham Accords into the background, representatives of the nations involved have quietly returned to the table.
On September 24, 2026, representatives of the United States, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco met in New York in the first official meeting of the Abraham Accords countries since the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks. Kazakhstan participated for the first time after previously expressing interest in joining the Accords. U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker described the meeting as an indication that the Abraham Accords are moving forward again.
That alone deserves the attention of anyone studying Bible prophecy.
But there is considerably more happening.
Just days before the meeting, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said that additional regional countries have expressed interest in joining the Abraham Accords.
The Trump administration has also been developing a broader post-war Middle East strategy reportedly focused on containing Iran while expanding normalization between Israel and neighboring countries.
And then there is Saudi Arabia.
Earlier this year, the United States and Saudi Arabia signed a civil nuclear cooperation agreement. President Trump subsequently said approval of the agreement was conditional upon Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords and normalizing relations with Israel.
Put those developments together:
The original Abraham Accords nations are meeting again.
Additional countries are considering participation.
Saudi normalization with Israel remains a major American objective.
And the United States is actively working toward a larger regional arrangement.
For students of Bible prophecy, it is difficult not to think about one extraordinary sentence written by Daniel more than 2,500 years ago:
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…” — Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
Notice carefully what Daniel says. He does not merely describe a covenant. He describes a covenant “with many.”
That doesn’t prove that the Abraham Accords are Daniel’s covenant. Scripture gives us additional identifying features, including the prophetic “week,” traditionally understood by many prophecy interpreters as seven years, and the individual who confirms the covenant and later breaks it in the midst of that period.
Those features have not been demonstrated by the Abraham Accords. But another development makes today’s situation even more interesting.
President Trump’s “Board of Peace”
Separate from the Abraham Accords, President Trump has established what his administration calls the Board of Peace.
It began primarily as part of Trump’s plan for Gaza. According to the White House, the Board operates under Trump’s chairmanship and was created to provide strategic oversight, mobilize international resources, and oversee elements of Gaza’s transition, reconstruction and stabilization. Its founding Executive Board includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Marc Rowan, World Bank President Ajay Banga and Robert Gabriel.
But its international composition is remarkable.
Reuters reported in July that more than two dozen countries were listed as founding participants, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Turkey, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and several other nations.
President Trump has also indicated that he envisions the Board’s role potentially extending beyond Gaza to other international conflicts, although its recognized UN mandate is currently much narrower. The United Nations Security Council recognized the Board as a temporary mechanism connected with Gaza reconstruction, with its present UN-authorized scope limited to Gaza and through 2027.
Then came another significant development.
In July, President Trump announced that Hamas and the Board of Peace had reached an agreement concerning the next stage of the Gaza peace process, including the disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups and a phased Israeli withdrawal.
And now, during the September United Nations meetings, the Board of Peace has been briefing countries on Gaza reconstruction and the next stages of the peace effort.
So, we now have two major multinational diplomatic structures operating around Israel and Middle East peace at the same time:
The Abraham Accords are again being expanded.
The Board of Peace is assembling a much larger collection of countries around Gaza, reconstruction, security and regional stability.
That is worth watching.
Could This Be Daniel 9:27?
Let’s look deeper…
Daniel says:
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…” — Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
There are several pieces to that prophecy.
There is a covenant.
It involves many.
Someone confirms that covenant.
The prophetic period is one week.
And in the middle of that period something dramatic happens involving sacrifice and oblation.
Let me help in filling in some of the blanks that we know through other prophetic teachings.
The Bible warns that during the final period of world history; a powerful ruler will arise whom Christians commonly call the Antichrist and whom Revelation describes as the “beast.” John writes, “and all the world wondered after the beast” (Revelation 13:3), and says that “power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7).
Paul describes a coming “man of sin” and “son of perdition” who will exalt himself and ultimately oppose God (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4).
Daniel likewise describes a ruler associated with a covenant “with many for one week,” who later brings sacrifice and oblation to an end (Daniel 9:27).
Here are the characteristics of the Antichrist as described in scripture:
He rises to extraordinary political power. Revelation says, “power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7).
The world marvels at him. “And all the world wondered after the beast” (Revelation 13:3).
He possesses remarkable authority and persuasive speech. He is given “a mouth speaking great things” (Revelation 13:5; compare Daniel 7:8).
He is associated with a covenant involving “many.” Daniel 9:27 says, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.” There is disagreement among interpreters about the identity of the “he” in this verse, so this particular identification should be treated carefully.
He ultimately breaks that arrangement. Daniel continues, “and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” (Daniel 9:27).
He exalts himself against God. Paul describes the “man of sin” who “exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped” (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4).
His rise involves Satanic power and deception. His coming is “after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9).
He blasphemes God. Revelation 13:6 says, “he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God.”
He persecutes God’s people. “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them” (Revelation 13:7; compare Daniel 7:25).
He is connected with another deceptive figure—the false prophet. Revelation 13:11–14 describes the second beast performing signs and directing people toward worship of the first beast.
His system eventually demands allegiance. Revelation describes people being compelled to receive a mark connected with the beast’s name or number, without which they cannot “buy or sell” (Revelation 13:16–18).
He receives worship. Revelation 13:8 says, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,” followed by an important qualification concerning those whose names are in the book of life.
His apparent triumph is temporary. Christ ultimately defeats the beast. Revelation 19:20 says the beast and false prophet are taken and “cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
It is important for a person to know what is coming, and who this leader will be, for one very simple spiritual reason.
As mentioned, in the middle of the week, 3.5 years into the final 7 years on earth, the antichrist will enter the new temple tht has been built by the Jewish people, and cease all religious sacrifices.
At this time, he will declare himself to be God, and demand worship from the entire world population.
Revelation 13:16–18 (KJV)
16 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
Here you can see the complexity of the situation that has been created. A person will not be able to function financially without taking this mark, and, taking this mark means pledging your entire worship and allegiance to the “devil” who is now proclaiming to be God.
Herein lies the entire purpose of the antichrist. He is given the world stage to pursue mankind to leave God, and commit to following him pretending to be God.
The intensity continues:
Revelation 13:15 (KJV)
“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”
Revelation 14:9–11 (KJV)
9 “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
Revelation 20:15 (KJV)
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Taking the mark of the beast will be presented as MANDATORY.
Those who refuse the mark will not be able to function in society. No job, unable to pay a mortgage, buy food, collect social security or pensions, etc.
Those who refuse to take this mark will be killed.
Those who take the mark will drink of the wrath of God, and will live with satan in the Lake of Fire for all of eternity.
The KJV strongly suggests that taking the mark of the beast is connected with a conscious allegiance to and worship of the beast, rather than someone accidentally receiving an innocent mark without understanding what it represents.
So, I must respectfully ask all of you, “What is your plan to avoid taking the mark of the beast?”
What have your religious leaders instructed you to do to ensure that you not take this mark?
Have your religious leaders even taught you about the danger that lies ahead?
Let me share God’s plan with you. This is the same plan that He has shared with His Prophets and is recorded in the Bible. Would you like to know what it is?
Prior to the antichrist being revealed to the world, when the actual 7-year peace agreement is signed by him and others, God will be removing His spirit from the earth.
1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV):
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
The spirit of God resides inside those people who are “in Christ” or have been “Born Again.” He will be doing this through a rescue referred to as the Rapture. Let me share that scripture with you.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–18
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
God will not be rescuing everyone, just those who are “in Christ” as the scripture identifies.
To be “in Christ” means that a person has placed his faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work for salvation, rather than trusting in religion, ordinances, personal righteousness, or good works to save him.
Scripture says, “if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17), and “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
We become God’s children “by faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26), and when we believe the gospel of our salvation, we are “sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13).
Being in Christ therefore means that we belong to Him: our sins have been forgiven through His sacrifice, His Spirit dwells within us, and our salvation rests upon what Christ has done for us rather than what we can accomplish for ourselves. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
To be in Christ is not simply to belong to a church or call yourself a Christian—it is to have personally trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour and been made spiritually alive in Him.
This is God’s plan to rescue certain people from the 7-year tribulation period. This should be YOUR plan, to being placed in a position where you must take the mark of the beast or suffer death.
If you are not yet “in Christ” go to the New Testament and study how to become Born Again as Jesus Christ taught. Then, get down on your knees and invite Jesus Christ into your life. Accept His atonement, and repent of your sins to Him in prayer. Have FAITH in Him alone to give you forgiveness of your sins.
This spiritual rebirth happens immediately! You can then know that you will be included in the rapture which will soon take place.
It is not about a person’s religion that they are saved. It is not about special religious ordinances that a person can make it to heaven. It is not about the amount of tithing that you pay to your church that prevents you from being, “burned at His coming.” These are all false teachings.
It is all about belonging to Jesus Christ, and becoming Born Again. This is what will save you in the rapture. This is what is necessary to live with Jesus Christ in Heaven.
Let’s look again at the rapture teaching:
1 Thessalonians 4:16–18
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
Those “in Christ” are not only raptured, but from that moment on, they will “…ever be with the Lord.” This means that wherever Jesus Christ goes, these people will follow. Even into the new Heaven that God will create.
Then the final verse, “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” Is there any greater comfort than to know Jesus Christ is coming for you to rescue you from the Tribulation Period, and that you will be with Him forever in Heaven? I can think of any.
Now, it’s all up to you. Go to God and ask Him to guide you through this process. STOP TRUSTING in a religious leader who is speechless regarding the prophetic teachings from God, detailing the end times events. Trust ONLY GOD. Don’t even trust me! Let God be your final authority in knowing all truth.
What lies ahead, the 7-Year Tribulation Period is FRIGHTENING, however, there is a plan to avoid every minute of it, if you will only follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles and Prophets recorded in the Bible. Become Born Again… RIGHT NOW!!! There is nothing more important than this.
