There are MANY people today who face a very common emotion: FEAR!
Given everything that is happening around the world, and even in the spiritual battle that we all face, fear can be a very common outcome…It is a natural reaction for us to begin to process what is happening right before our eyes.
Let me share something with you today, that might help a person who is constantly struggling with fear… I like to call it “Emotional Surfing Kick Out.”
Surfing is a fascinating sport to watch. Timing the wave just perfectly, the surfer is up on the board riding the wave in spectacular form. Yet sometimes, you will notice them “Kick Out” of the wave…Why did they just exit the wave, and not continue riding it…They were doing so awesome?
A surfer “kicks out” before the wave closes out, or before reaching an unsafe section. He does this because remaining on the wave is no longer PRODUCTIVE or safe for them to continue riding.
Now, think of our minds for just a moment. Fear is an emotion that serves a purpose. It usually shows up when something harmful is coming, or when a person feels unsafe. Fear acts as the emotion that should generate ACTION. To, “get away form danger,” to immediately do something about your circumstances. This is the healthy component of fear, and why it has helped mankind survive for thousands of years.
But what happens when we continue to surf the emotion of fear, and never get off the wave? It no longer becomes productive and even emotionally dangerous for us to remain on the wave.
A way to resolve this is to “Emotionally Kick Out” of the wave of fear at the right time, so it doesn’t continue harming us emotionally, by living in a constant fear environment.
I have found TREMENDOUS Power in removing fear bycreating a PLAN! My immediate go-to when faced with fear is to create a plan. By doing this, you have actually “kicked out” of the fear mode right into the TAKE ACTION part of this process. This is where the comfort comes from, and the resolution of the fear emotion.
The following is a real experience that happened to me several years ago, while riding through the Colorado Mountains with friends.
We had stopped at a restaurant for lunch, and were sitting at a table eating when I noticed some very strange and alarming circumstances beginning to develop. Two men wearing small back packs came to the outside front of the restaurant, which we could see through a large window in the front. One of the men stayed out front acting as a watchman, while the other man came inside. As he entered, he walked right past the restroom, and began looking around to see what was inside. He didn’t look at the menu, he looked directly at the people inside, eerily studying who was there. He was there for quite some time, not just a quick glance around. Something felt very off to me. Fear began to enter my mind, and I immediately began developing a plan.
The man walked outside of the restaurant, and spoke to the other man for a moment, and then they both entered the restaurant together.
I had NO conformation that what they were about to do was harmful whatsoever, but I was acting on a feeling.
Without taking to any of my friends first, who were clueless of what I was observing, I walked straight over to these two men and said, “Hey, I noticed that you two are probably coming in from a day of hiking. I’d like to buy you both lunch”, and gave them a $20 bill.
This placed me right Infront of them, should they have had the intent to rob the restaurant. It also helped me get a sense of their intentions. I would be able to tell from their reaction which way this would go.
Both men, who looked hard by the way, were surprised and grateful. Expressing thanks to a nice jester. Their intentions were not as I suspected, and perhaps were just looking to meet a friend.
But my plan had given me the advantage of being in a position of control, rather than a surprised victim. And since there was no harmful intent, it just came off as something nice.
My friends certainly gave me a hard time when I shared my experience, referring to me as the meerkat of the group, always watching out for danger. But I receive that title with honor, as I refuse to be the one caught off guard.
My fear immediately placed me into action, and to actually be doing something about it, rather that just wait to see where this fear takes me.
So, today, I’d like for you to consider the thing that is producing fear in your life. Identify it as a threat, but as soon as you’re able to, create a plan to deal with that fear. What is your action plan to resolve this fear.
Let me shift this into something of a spiritual nature for a moment. Many of you might be fearful of what has been written by prophets of God detailing the final Seven Years on earth. Is this you?
Some of you might know of God’s rescue plan of the rapture, but are fearful that you will be left behind. Is this you?
And perhaps, some of you have done terrible things while on the earth, and fear for your salvation regarding life after death. Is this you?
If this is you, let me ask… “How long have you been surfing on this wave of fear?” A day, a year… a lifetime? Do you realize that it is NOW time for you to “kick out” and get off this wave?
Whatever your fear is, TODAY, I’d like for you to enter the plan stage of this emotional battle. Let me help you using one of these examples.
You have heard that the rapture is coming, and you are not sure if you will be included or left behind.
The plan is very simple. We are going to start right now, and learn what is required to be included in the rapture. Then we are going to do everything necessary to fulfill the requirement. This way, you will know for certain that you will be included, and you can release that fear for good. Simple, right? Let’s keep going with this plan.
We learn what’s required to be included in the rapture by prayerfully studying the scriptures that tell us about God’s rescue plan. Here they are:
1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 — KJV
16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
Paul describes the transformation that happens during this event:
1 Corinthians 15:51–52 — KJV
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
The first scripture gives us the “requirement” as it states those “in Christ” will be taken. First the dead who will be resurrected, and then those who are living, whose bodies will be changed in an instant.
So, are you “in Christ?” What does that actually mean? Let’s keep going…
Being “in Christ” comes from being “born again” as taught by Christ in the New Testament. Jesus said, “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7 KJV), explaining that this new birth is a work of the Spirit: “That which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6).
When a person genuinely believes in Jesus Christ and receives Him by faith, they pass “from death unto life” (John 5:24) and are “sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13). They are no longer merely the person they were before; God has given them new spiritual life.
This is why Paul says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). To be born again is to become that “new creature” in Christ.
Therefore, when Scripture speaks of someone being “in Christ,” it is not describing membership in a particular church, denomination, or religious organization. It describes the person’s relationship with Jesus Christ—the one in whom they have placed their faith for salvation.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works” (Ephesians 2:8–9). The essential question, therefore, is not simply “Am I religious?” but “Am I in Christ? Have I been born again through faith in Jesus Christ?”
And finally, how does a person become Born Again, as taught by Jesus Christ Himself?
This does not have to be a complicated process…
Realize that you are a sinner.
Learn and know about the atonement of Jesus Christ, and that He came to this earth to die for YOUR SINS.
Realize that this atonement is the ONLY way that you can have your sins forgiven.
In a prayer with God, tell Him that you would like to accept the gift of the atonement of Jesus Christ into your life.
Show Him your faith in that atonement by repenting of your sins. Just between you and God… Just tell Him what you have done wrong, and ask for His forgiveness.
In doing this, and having faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ in your life, you will IMMEDIATELY receive this new spiritual rebirth, and become Born Again, thus fulfilling the requirement of being raptured as well as knowing that you will be with God in Heaven after this life.
This fear that you have been packing around has just now been completely eliminated because of you following your plan, as well as the power of a Father in Heaven who cares about you.
Ephesians 1:13 — KJV
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”
The believer now belongs to Christ.
What If You Can Not Come Up with A Plan for Your Fear?
A helpful part in this process is if you can not come up with a plan, your plan is always the same…Go to God FIRST, give this burden to HIM. Then listen, as he guides you through the steps of the PLAN that He has for you to resolve your fear.
MY BEST PLANS, have all come from God. As I give the burden to Him, I listen to the plan unfold inside my mind. I am no longer the commander of my own problem; I am simply listening to what my orders are from a commander far superior to myself. I have Faith in HIM. I trust HIM immensely.
I hope that these words have been helpful for you. We are all in this together, and we all have the same Commander. Let us all commit to Him, TODAY, for He will guide us through anything, and especially these last few days upon this earth…I so witness in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!!!!!

Love you in the love of the Lord! And sense you wrote this for me. :) I can, however, absolutely ASSURE YOU I am NOT “in fear”!!!!
What I’ve said & written about is absolutely 100% THE TRUTH!! I greatly anticipate heaven then all eyes will be ABLE TO SEE what I’ve been put through & had to deal with! (don’t any Christians even BELIEVE in demons? VERY REAL!!)
At any rate, it’s my own cross to bear & I do not aim to speak any more of it. Though again I can absolutely promise I am NOT in fear! I learned a Psalm many years ago when preparing to teach VBS. Psalm 56:3 ” What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee.” That has always stayed with me.
Perhaps I overexplained b/c the whole point of my other comment was in asking should (real) Christians buy products from companies they know are mormon? I am getting different responses/answers on the web. So I will just make it a matter of asking God for HIS wisdom!!
In trying very much to do the right thing, I realize I can often be an ‘all or nothing” type of person & get too dogmatic about something….. throw it all away… then later regret it! Perhaps this question falls more in line with “food sacrificed to idols”.
Peace to you & your family!

Hello sis… I’m grateful that you are not living in fear. To answer your question, I can say quite confidently that any product purchased from “mormon” people or companies are not demonic whatsoever. I live amoung these GREAT people for many years. They are spiritual good people of God. They have simply been deceived. The only time that I have ever felt darkness was within the temples… and the darkness was trememdous and uncomfortable. The people are not evil. It is my own opinion that Joseph Smith who was into sorcery was indeed tapped into an evil spiritual realm. But all of the “prophets that I have personally met in my life have not been dark what so ever, with the exception of the current leader. Again, in my own opinion, he feels very dark to me.
