Jordanian officials say the number of visits by Jewish activists to the Temple Mount has increased and have expressed concern over calls by some Israeli political leaders to expand Jewish worship there or eventually construct a Jewish house of worship on the site. Many of us have wondered just how a temple would be able to be built upon the temple mount by the Jewish people, for this has been an impossible thought that many have had. Fighting has continued for thousands of years over such a sacred spot, and it was felt that, never in “our lifetime” this temple would be built there.
