Social media is buzzing after an alleged classified NASA document, referred to online as “Project Anchor,” claimed that Earth could experience a seven-second loss of gravity on August 12, 2026, at approximately 14:33 UTC.
According to the unverified report, the event was supposedly linked to the interaction of rare gravitational waves originating from distant black holes. The document claimed that during those seven seconds, people, vehicles, aircraft, and unsecured objects could become weightless before gravity suddenly returned.
The viral posts further alleged that governments were quietly preparing for the event while withholding the information to prevent worldwide panic. Some versions even claimed billions of dollars had been secretly allocated to emergency preparations and predicted catastrophic casualties and economic disruption.
As with most of the information on social media, this is indeed false information. Despite the widespread attention the story received online, NASA has stated that no such project exists and that Earth will not lose gravity on August 12, 2026. Scientists explain that Earth’s gravity cannot simply switch off, and gravitational waves are far too weak to produce such an effect.
So, why am I discussing this today? Even though this is clearly a hoax, I feel that this story does “fit” in the antichrist’s agenda and story line. Hoaxes are news, regardless if they are true or false, and this could very well be a thought that team satan is trying to put into the minds of people today. Once again, he knows that the rapture is close to happening, and could this be another story, in the making, to explain why so many people have been lifted up in the air…Due to “no gravity?”
From a storytelling perspective, a preexisting rumor like the “gravity loss” hoax could make such a cover story seem more believable because people had already heard about it. It could provide a ready-made explanation that many might accept without much scrutiny.
So today, we add another possible “Cover Story” to our growing list of how they might explain away the rapture:
Loss of Gravity for 7 seconds
Alien Abduction
Mass Cosmic Event
Quantum or Dimensional Event
Government Experiment Gone Wrong
Natural Disaster Explanation
Religious Extremist Narrative
Artificial Intelligence Error or Digital Confusion
Psychological Mass Delusion
Project Blue Beam
Once again, there is no credibility to these stories in themselves, however, there is a very telling sign that we can take away from all of this. The name of the game in the last days is Deception. And, all of these stories are a testament of that deception happening right now.
To the unbeliever, one of these, or a very similar story, will be used to explain the rapture away. And, judging by the response of this latest story about earth losing gravity, there will be many who are eager to accept what social media is telling them as details in fact.
To those who believe, we have already been warned about the deception that is right before us:
2 Timothy 3:1, 13
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.“
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.“
Matthew 24:24
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.“
I do not what to give the impression that followers of Christ can not be deceived, for I am a perfect example of someone who has been deceived by my very own religion for my entire life. Deception is happening right now, and certainly in the days to come will be incredibly difficult to detect, for it will be “that good.”
So, what can we do to ensure that we do not fall into this magnetic deception?
The KJV teaches that God has not left believers without protection. While deception will increase in the last days, Scripture gives clear instruction on how followers of Christ can remain faithful.
Be Born Again
Jesus taught that a genuine relationship with Him is the foundation.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.“

Why is this important? From the moment that a person has this spiritual rebirth, they are given God’s Holy Spirit. This same spirit dwells in all of those who have trusted Christ, guiding them into truth. The Holy Spirit protects believers from deception by guiding them into God’s truth, reminding them of Christ’s words, and giving them discernment to recognize error.
Jesus promised, “When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). The Holy Spirit also teaches believers and brings Christ’s teachings to their remembrance (John 14:26), helping them compare every doctrine with Scripture. As believers remain in Christ and His Word, the Holy Spirit enables them to discern truth from falsehood and avoid being led astray by the deceptions of the last days.
We must rely on God’s Spirit, and you can’t do this unless you have it within you.
Know the Scriptures
Jesus overcame Satan’s temptations by quoting God’s Word.
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.“

Paul instructed Timothy:
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
— 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV)
The more familiar we are with Scripture, the easier it is to recognize teachings that do not agree with it. You’ve heard it said that prayer is us talking to God, and His scriptures are Him talking to us. Compare all truth with the teachings of Christ that are recorded in the New Testament. If you believe in other scripture, test that doctrine against what Christ taught in the New Testament. With today’s tools and advancement in scanning capabilities, this is something very easy to do. Scan Christ’s teachings in the New Testament and have AI compare it to your church’s doctrine. This will take you all of 5 minutes to flush out any false doctrine.
Love and Seek the Truth!!!!
Paul explains why many are deceived:
“Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
— 2 Thessalonians 2:10 (KJV)
My former church is FULL of people who do not have a love and desire to know the truth. Since they think that they already have it, they are closed minded to even begin to reach out and seek the truth. This prideful barrier keeps them tangled in the nets of deception.
A love for truth means being willing to follow God’s Word even when it challenges our traditions, preferences, or the comfort of our religion. When I realized that I had been deceived, my ENTIRE focus was to find the TRUTH. Just me, God, His Spirit, and the Bible. I started with a clean sheet of paper. Nothing was preconceived, for I didn’t actually know which “church” teachings were true, and which were false. I would no longer trust any “man” to tell me. I would take back control over my spiritual learning and development. When I found the truth, it exposes what is false. And… the flood gates were opened.
Test Every Teaching
John wrote:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
— 1 John 4:1 (KJV)
Every doctrine, preacher, church, or spiritual experience should be measured against Scripture. For those of you who trust a prophet, even over your own personal revelation from God, test that logic against scripture:
“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.“
Acts 5:29
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.“
Psalm 118:8
Follow Jesus Above Men
Jesus warned that religious leaders themselves could mislead people.
“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

Our ultimate authority is Christ and His Word—not any human leader or religious tradition.
Continue in Christ
John encouraged believers:
“And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.”
— 1 John 2:28 (KJV)
Remaining close to Christ through prayer, obedience, and His Word helps believers stay spiritually alert.
Watch for Christ’s Return
Jesus repeatedly urged His disciples to remain watchful.
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
— Matthew 24:42 (KJV)
Watching is not about predicting dates, but about living in faithful expectation of His return.
Remember the Gospel
Paul summarized the gospel that saves:
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Returning continually to the gospel guards against teachings that add to or replace Christ’s finished work.
It is my hope that foremost, we recognize that any one of us could be deceived in today’s world. For some of you, you are just starting to begin to see this deception, even from a church that you once trusted on a very “intimate” level. This can be a very difficult time for you, as it was for me. Do not focus on what is false, rather, focus on what the truths are that you are learning, for the are COMFORTING!!
I know for the first time in my life that I am going to heaven. Do you know how refreshing that is for me? I no longer have to ask, “Am I good enough? Have I done enough?” I also know that I will be rescued by God’s plan of the Rapture, to meet Jesus Christ in the air, and have my body changed into a perfect state…and to “Forever be with the Lord.” I know that I will be at the Judgment Seat of Christ, and will receive rewards, “crowns” for my good works, rather than be judged or punished for my sins.
The truth of the Gospel that Christ taught has set me free!
John 8:31–32 (KJV):
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.“
It is my hope and prayer that you too can find this freedom. I belong to Jesus Christ, and not a church. Your church will disappear upon your death, and mean nothing to you, this I know for certain. Our leader will be Jesus Christ, and our relationship will be directly with Him, and not through a church. Run to God, with a desire to know the truth, and He will guide you…I PROMISE!!
