Here’s What’s Coming Shortly During the 7-Year Tribulation Period – Torment of Demonic Beings as Locusts (KJV)

If you do not care about the end times nor Jesus Christ, let me just share what your future will entail. These are not my words, but words spoken of Prophets of God concerning the end times, as recorded in the Bible. I’m not going to “sugar coat” what is coming, because you need to be forewarned about the reality of what lies before you.

The End-Times consists of a 7-year period known as the Tribulation Period, or final 7 years upon the earth. “Tribulation” is indeed the perfect word, however, you could certainly us “Horrific,” or “Terrifying” as well, for it will be a period of time like never before.

One particular event that I would like to describe today is found in the Book of Revelation chapter 9 in the KJV Bible. It describes the sounding of the fifth trumpet judgment during the tribulation period, when demonic beings symbolized as locusts are released from the bottomless pit to torment people for five months.

Here is the key passage:

“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.” — Revelation 9:3 (KJV)

These were not ordinary locusts. They were supernatural beings sent for judgment:

“And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.” — Revelation 9:5 (KJV)

The torment will be so severe that people will desire death but will not be able to escape it:

“And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” — Revelation 9:6 (KJV)

The chapter continues by describing their terrifying appearance:

“And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle…” — Revelation 9:7 (KJV)

And their king is identified as:

“And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.” — Revelation 9:11 (KJV)

Many Bible students believe these “locusts” represent demonic entities released during God’s judgment upon an unbelieving world in the tribulation. The imagery emphasizes terror, torment, and spiritual darkness unlike anything mankind has experienced before. For FIVE months they will inflict relentless torture and torment, to those who don’t follow Jesus Christ…suffering on a level never seen before.

Some important things to consider. A person will not be able to find refuge in a bunker, or a fortress. This is one of the Judgments from God Himself. There is not a man-made shelter that can keep a person away from the wrath of God.

So, why is God doing this?

The purpose of the 7-year tribulation period is twofold. God is punishing and will defeat evil during this time. He is coming to the world with a vengeance to destroy evil, and if you choose to follow evil, these punishments are specifically for you, and you will not be able to avoid them, not even find refuse in DEATH. These 5 months must be endured, regardless of a person plans to escape them.

The second purpose of the 7-year Tribulation Period is to HUMBLE people so that they will finally accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Redeemer. God is giving mankind one last chance to come to Christ.

So, when will this particular event take place within the 7-year Tribulation Period?

According to a common pre-tribulation, KJV interpretation, the torment of the locusts in Revelation 9 occurs during the first half of the 7-year tribulation, but likely closer to the middle of the period.

What I have written about today is just One of the Many things that will happen on the earth during the final seven years. Let me show you the others, just to give you an idea of what will occur during the Tribulation Period:

However, RIGHT NOW, you have the opportunity to avoid ALL of these terrible things. Study “How to Become Born Again” in the bible. Invite Jesus Christ into your life, and have a desire to follow Him. Repent of your sins, and have faith in His atonement.

For “Born Again” believers, God has a rescue plan…This is referred to as the Rapture, which will happen prior to the start of the 7-year Tribulation period. Let me show you the details:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)

This is the primary rapture passage.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The phrase “caught up” is where the term rapture comes from. The reference “in Christ” is the qualifier. God will not be rescuing all mankind, JUST those “in Christ” or “Born Again” as taught in the bible.

Matthew 24:40–41 (KJV)

“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

A very similar passage is also found in Luke:

Luke 17:34–36 (KJV)

“I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

This teaches the instant transformation of believers into glorified bodies, allowing us to live “in the clouds”

John 14:1–3 (KJV)

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Jesus promises to personally receive believers unto Himself.

Philippians 3:20–21 (KJV)

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body…”

A promise of the believer’s bodily transformation.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”

This verse is often connected to the belief that believers will be delivered before God’s tribulation wrath.

Revelation 3:10 (KJV)

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world…”

Often cited as a promise of protection from the coming worldwide tribulation.

God will remove people who are “in Christ” before the Tribulation Period begins. I invite all of you to spend every moment making sure that you are “in Christ” “Born Again” so that you will be included in this rescue plan. If you are not, you will face all of the terrible things that I have written about. That decision rests totally with you. I invite you to give these words the importance that they deserve right now, so that you can find peace in the loving arms of the Savior.
