Something BIG is GOING to Happen – You can Feel it In the Air – What is It, AND Why the Delay?

I believe everyone on the plant has this sense that something BIG is about to happen. This “something” is divided into three groups.

There are people that feel that the world is sitting on civil unrest, and that we are on the brink of something resulting from this like: War, Being Attacked, Marshall Law, etc. Their feelings are escalated by “fear news” broadcast around the clock.

Then, there is a separate group of people, believers of Jesus Christ, that are sensing a “spiritual event” nearing. They have been tuned into the spirit teaching them about the “birthing pains” that will lead to the return of Jesus Christ. They are “seeing the signs” and following the prophecies that have been written about our day. And most important, they KNOW where we are in these prophecies, and they are very aware of what will happen next… The Rapture.

The final group are those people who live their life under a rock. They have no idea what is happening in life, and choose not to ever know. For whatever reason they choose to tune everything out, even “spiritual” guidance.

Three different groups of people, two groups on “High Alert” for different reasons…or are those reasons actually connected?

The more that I study the prophecies of the end times, the more that I see one VERY Important aspect of the end times. One thing that all of this hinges upon. One that might even surprise you, and that is…GOD is Fully in charge of the timing.

God Declares When HIS Plan for the End Times will Begin

First off, everything that is happening in all three groups is all connected. We are living in the Last Days, or End Times. There are different interpretations from each group, but the events are all tied to the same thing…The End Times. BUT…WHY THE DELAY in a response?

From the first groups perspective, there is a great deal of saber rattling going on and “rumors of wars” but we have just all been sitting in this “Something is going to happen soon” period of time. They have been waiting for World War III to begin for several years now.

For the second group, we know that the Rapture is imminent. If you are connected to the spirit of God, you have heard the whispers that this will soon be the case. There are many on social media, who every day, are posting that Christ will come for very soon…and, they believe that with all of their hearts. So, why hasn’t this happened yet? We KNOW that it is coming VERY SOON, but why not right now?

Satan’s team cannot begin their deception plan, and Jesus can not come and “get His Bride” until God says that it is time. He is the Commander in Chief for the end times. He is the one to give the green light for the Tribulation period to begin. It is up to Him and Him alone to say when. He will not let events begin until He is ready.

So, what is God Waiting For?

In my mind, I have always thought that God is waiting until the world gets “bad enough” before He sends His son. However, that is not true at all. Let’s learn what God is really waiting for before He give the order to proceed with the end times.

The Bible plainly teaches that God delays judgment because of His mercy. He is waiting for as many people as possible to accept Jesus Christ before He begins the Tribulation period. Mercy and love are the reason for His “delay.”

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is giving time for people to repent and be saved before judgment begins. Can you see this from His perspective? He is very aware that the world is “awful,” but this is not the trigger for the Tribulation Period to begin.

God is waiting until the fullness of the Gentiles is complete

Scripture teaches that there is a set number of Gentiles who will come to faith before God turns His focus back to Israel.

Romans 11:25 (KJV)

…blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

When this fullness is complete, God’s prophetic program moves forward.

God is waiting for the gospel to be preached worldwide

Jesus said the end would not come until the gospel had reached all nations.

Matthew 24:14 (KJV)

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This is not about church growth, but about witness. About individuals becoming Born Again.

God is waiting for His appointed time

The timing of the end times is fixed by God alone.

Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)

For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

God is gathering His people before wrath

Scripture teaches believers are not appointed to God’s wrath.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

This aligns with the promise of deliverance before judgment.

God is not delaying the end times because He is uncertain or slow. He is waiting because He is merciful. He is allowing time for repentance, for the gospel to reach the world, for the fullness of the Gentiles to be completed, and for His appointed time to arrive. When that moment comes, events will move swiftly and decisively, exactly as Scripture has declared.

…now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

So, to the members of “Christ’s Church,” your feelings that Jesus can come for us any day now are indeed correct. If you do not feel this way, I invite you to prayerfully ask God for clarification and conformation. He will give that to you.

And for the feelings that we are all having: “why is God delaying the rapture”? This question has now been answered. He is waiting for as many people as possible to come to Christ before He starts His Judgment upon the earth.

I like to think of it this way. What if I was that person that God was delaying the rapture in order to see that I made it aboard the “ark” before the flood came? What if He was holding things up for ME because of His love for me, who had not yet had a chance to come to Him? I would be eternally grateful that He held things up for me, and I would be so thankful to all of you for having the patience of Him holding up the rapture so that I could be saved.

We do not need to study the events of the world to see for things to get “bad enough” for the rapture to occur. We just need to be patient, knowing that each day that passes means that someone has just accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, another RESCUE has occurred because of a loving God and His patience for His children.

So, instead of screaming for this ship to sail already…Let us unite each day in screaming the praise for our God, that one of our brothers or sisters has just accepted Jesus and joined “His Church.” Then let us rejoice in a Father who has that kind of love for His children not to leave them behind.

Rather than grow impatient, spend your time finding these people who God is waiting for and reach out to them, teaching them about His gospel. Teach them how they too can be given access to the Rapture and be saved from what is coming. Let us all continue teaching the gospel to quicken the work.

Finding these people is not “looking for a needle in a haystack.” When you include God in your search, He will lead you to those who are searching for the truth. He will lead you to those who He has been preparing to hear His word, and accept Jesus Christ.

I’m so thankful that I have been able to understand His gospel, as well as the end times. I’m grateful for a God who teaches me truth EVERY day. I am forever in debt to our Savior for the gift that He has given to me, atoning for my sins. I anxiously await His return to gather His church. To be rescued from the Tribulation which will come upon the earth. And, I can not even wait to live in His presence forever, exploring the new world that He will create for us. Together will all of those that I love, rappelling from the clouds in heaven… Free from illness, worry, nor any mortal problems that sometimes consume our minds… Can You Even Imagine?!?! I’m ready…Come Jesus!

Do not trust ME, nor ANY “MAN.” Trust in God, for this is where you will learn the truth.
