Love and Compassion Taken from the Earth – Foretold Through Prophecy – Now Experienced by You and Me

I’ve become saddened with the changes that are happening in my circle of friends and family recently. Things are changing. Friends seem more distant, and even some family members are straying away from the deep relationship that we once had. Why is this happening? Why does there seem to be a diminished feeling of love among people of the world right now?

The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible clearly warns that in the last days, there will be a breakdown of love and family relationships, including children rebelling against their parents. Here are the main passages that teach this truth:

Matthew 10:21–22

“And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

 Meaning:
Jesus warned that as persecution and evil increase, even families will betray one another. Loyalty to Christ will divide homes, and children will turn against their parents for the sake of the world’s systems or their own survival.

Matthew 24:10–12

“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Meaning:
In the last days, sin (“iniquity”) will dominate the world. As evil grows stronger, true love — the kind that reflects God’s nature — will grow colder. People will become self-centered, harsh, and unfaithful, even to those closest to them.

Mark 13:12–13

“Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

Meaning:
Similar to Matthew 10, this describes how family bonds will no longer hold when faith in Christ is tested. Many will turn their backs on one another.

2 Timothy 3:1–5

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Meaning:
This is one of the clearest prophecies about our current world. Children will reject their parents’ authority, natural affection will vanish, and people will pursue pleasure over godliness. Love will be replaced by pride and selfishness.

Micah 7:5–6

“Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.”

Meaning:
Even the prophet Micah foresaw days when the family unit would collapse, and trust would erode between loved ones — foreshadowing the end-time moral decay Jesus later described.

Summary Thought

In the last days, Scripture warns:

  • Some families will turn against each other.
  • Natural love and affection will grow cold.
  • Betrayal and selfishness will dominate society.
  • Those who remain faithful to Christ will stand out — and often be persecuted for it.

Are you seeing this on a personal level as well?

The further away that a person is from Christ, the greater decrease of love towards others is conveyed. To observe some close to me, it is evident where they stand with Jesus Christ. Close relationship = Strong outward Love to others. No relationship = Love has Grown COLD!

So, what does this mean for each of us. Why is this information helpful?

First and foremost, this explains what is happening to our world, and why Hate, Evil and Revenge are so prevalent. We know know the underlying cause: The absence of Jesus Christ in people’s lives.

But something revealing to me, is the remedy to correct these relationships on this earth will not come until the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I can see the Wisdom in God’s plan. The world has reached the point that the last remaining hope to bring people to Christ will be the Tribulation Period. His church will be removed through the event of the Rapture, and then it’s “Game On!” I can see the purpose of the 7-seals, The 7-Trumpet Judgments, as well as the 7-Bowls of God’s Wrath.

Some people are to the point where they need to live in an environment outside the “comfy” world that we now live in. As their lives become difficult, will they then reach out to God, and have a desire to accept Jesus Christ into their lives? For some, the answer is YES.

I asked AI for some assistance in providing any relevant information that gives us an idea of “How many people will come to Christ during the 7-year Tribulation Period.” Here is the response:

The King James Version (KJV) does not give an exact percentage of how many people will come to Jesus Christ during the 7-year Tribulation, but it does provide clues showing that a great multitude will be saved — yet still a small portion compared to the total population on earth.

Here’s what Scripture says:

Revelation 7:9, 13–14 (KJV)

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”
These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

This shows that many will be saved during the Tribulation — people from all nations — but they will face severe persecution and many will die for their faith (see Revelation 6:9–11).

Matthew 7:13–14 (KJV)

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Even though the multitude seems large, compared to the billions on earth, the saved will still be “few” in percentage. Most will follow the Antichrist and receive the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16–17).

Estimate (based on Scripture patterns)

While the Bible gives no number, prophecy teachers and scholars often infer from the text that:

  • Possibly less than 10% of the world’s population will truly turn to Christ during the Tribulation.
  • The majority will reject Him and perish (Revelation 9:20–21; 16:9, 11).

So, according to the KJV, a vast number will be saved during the Tribulation, but compared to all humanity, it will still be a small minority — likely a few percent of the total population.

These findings to me are sad, yet telling. There WILL be people who accept the “Mark of the Beast.” A great number of people. And their fate?

Revelation 14:9–11 (KJV)

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

Those who take the mark are making an irrevocable choice to worship the Antichrist instead of God. It’s not merely a physical mark — it represents loyalty, allegiance, and worship. Once that decision is made, the Bible teaches there is no turning back and no repentance afterward.

This is a biblical teaching that is difficult to accept and process for me. There entire eternity is in shambles because of a decision that they made here upon earth in the last days. I wonder, what if they lived and died outside of the Tribulation Period where the “Mark” was not an option. Would they have suffered such drastic eternal consequences?

This though has made me want to dig deeper. Are people living in the last days exposed to an unfair disadvantage due to the mark of the beast? Here are the results of my research.

According to Scripture, the mark of the beast is a specific event tied to a specific time period — during the Great Tribulation, under the rule of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:16–18). That means no one who lived before that time could ever have been faced with the choice to take the mark, nor will they be judged by that standard.

Here’s the key point:

People who lived before the Tribulation will be judged based on their faith response to God in their own time, not by the mark.

For example:

  • Old Testament believers were judged by their faith in God and obedience to His revelation at that time (see Hebrews 11 — Abraham, Noah, Moses, etc.).
  • New Testament believers and the Church Age (today) are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9).
  • Tribulation believers will face the mark of the beast test, where taking it equals rejecting Christ completely.

In other words:

The mark of the beast only applies to those living during the Tribulation — when the Antichrist is demanding worldwide worship and enforcing the mark.
If someone lived before that time, they would never be judged for something that did not exist yet.

God is perfectly just, and He judges each person by the light and truth available to them:

Acts 17:30 (KJV)
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”

Romans 2:6, 11 (KJV)
“Who will render to every man according to his deeds… For there is no respect of persons with God.”

God is perfectly just and perfectly merciful. He judges not by outward actions alone, but by the heart and understanding of each person.

“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.” — Luke 12:48 (KJV)

Those who have full understanding and choose evil will be judged differently than those who do not have the capacity to discern right from wrong. Even challenges such as mental illness can deeply affect a person’s ability to reason, perceive reality, and control behavior. God sees that.

“The Lord looketh on the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)

He knows exactly what a person understands and what they can or cannot control. Judgment will be perfectly fair because He sees beyond human appearance or behavior — right into the soul.

Can I just say, that I am glad that I will not be the judge of any man?!?

For us, our mission is clear. Rejoice in the knowledge that we have been SAVED, and continue to pray and “care” for those who are distracted by worldly events. Reflect on God’s plan to humble those lost souls, for this is how He will be answering our prayers for them.

    1. I hear what you are saying about the difficulty in finding these writings. My intent is to only share them with certain people. When I made tha ccount porivate, I asked God to help those who sincerely wanted to access the information, that they would be able to. It’s not about the clicks or even the amount of subscribers. It’s all about writing for people like YOU that I’m focused on right now. Free from people who mock the word of God. I like it this way. I look forward to “cleaning your cloud” someday. =)

  4. there seems to be an uptick in narcissistic behavior, and not just within our current govt and all that but also within families, family members, old friends…quite abusive & toxic, actually, at times…very defensive, antagonistic & manipulative…it’s in the air around us…the air we breathe…the shadows that lurk…paranoia, mistrust, fear, anger, a sense of displacement….the dis-ease of conceit.
