(The views expressed here are my personal beliefs, shaped by extensive study of end-times prophecy in the Bible. I have prayerfully sought God’s guidance throughout my research to remain focused on truth. I do not speak on behalf of any religious organization.)
There is a group of people on social media that is declaring that the rapture will happen at any moment. I share that belief as well. But why can we say this? How do we know? Let me help you understand why this is the case.
You will see that all who are proclaiming the imminent return of Jesus Christ, through the rapture, have ONE thing in common. They are ALL studying the writings of the Prophets, as well as the words of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Bible. They are NOT getting their information from a “church,” rather they are getting it directly from the writings of God, as spoken by the prophets in the Bible.
And the doubters who reply with negative comments? I’m quite certain that they haven’t even opened up their bible, and are waiting for church leaders to tell them what is going to happen…if those leaders are saying anything at all.
There is NO WAY a person is going to know, unless they include God in their study of end times prophecy, and receive guidance and teaching through His Holy Spirit. Do you realize that One Third of the Bible specifically relates to these last 7 years on earth? Over 500 passages teach about God’s plan for the end times. God wants YOU to know what is happening, but YOU need to do your part and study the revelations from the prophets, for this is how God works.
If a church leader is not teaching these same things that the prophets of the bible have shared, one needs to question if they are truly a prophet of God or not.
Let me share a scripture with you that solidifies why some people know that the rapture is near, and why others do not have a clue what is about to happen:
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…”
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:2-4, KJV)
This is one of the most interesting passages in Bible prophecy because Paul appears to be teaching two different groups of people. One group is caught completely by surprise. The other group is watching and aware of what is happening.
Let’s look at it carefully.
Notice the contrast between “they” and “ye” (you).
The World Will Be Surprised
Paul says “they shall say, Peace and safety.”
The unbelieving world will be carrying on with life, believing things are under control. Then God’s judgment will arrive suddenly. Just as a thief does not announce his arrival, the Day of the Lord will come unexpectedly upon those who are spiritually asleep.
Jesus taught the same principle:
“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage… and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away.”
(Matthew 24:38-39, KJV)
The people in Noah’s day had warnings, but they ignored them. Judgment did not surprise Noah—it surprised everyone else.
Believers Are Not Supposed to Be Caught Off Guard
Paul then turns to Christians and says:
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:4, KJV)
He does not say believers will know the exact day or hour. Jesus specifically said no man knows that (Matthew 24:36). However, many of us have learned that this scripture does not say anything about not knowing the season or the YEAR of His return.
I must tell you that the season/year of His return can easily be discovered through prayerful study of the teachings that are in the bible. THIS is how people on social media are so confident in their declaration that the rapture will soon happen.
What Paul is saying is that believers are not living in spiritual darkness. They have God’s Word. They understand prophecy. They recognize the signs of the times. Therefore, the approach of God’s prophetic program WILL not surprise them.
The Christian who prayerfully studies Scripture will wake up one day and say, “I KNEW THE DAY of His Return was CLOSE,” as they are being lifted up into the clouds to join Jesus Christ.
There are good religious people who have no clue about anything that will happen in the 7-year Tribulation period, nor do they even know God’s purpose of this time. How do they think that they will know the day of His coming??? I can promise them that if they are waiting for a religious leader to teach them all of the details of the end times, they will be part of the group that is SURPRISED, as mentioned in the scripture.
Children of Light
Paul continues:
“Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:5, KJV)
Light in Scripture often symbolizes truth, understanding, and God’s revelation.
The world views events only through politics, economics, and human reasoning.
Believers have an additional source of understanding—the Word of God.
As prophecy unfolds, Christians should be comparing current events with BIBLE Scripture and seeking wisdom from God, for this is GOD’s plan…Not your church’s.
Here are some questions that EVERY Christian should be asking themselves.
Do you even know what qualifies a person to be included in the rapture?
Do you know that Deception is one of the major parts of the Tribulation Period?
Do you know Matthew 24:24 (KJV):
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
Do you know that the Antichrist will soon rise as the leader of the world, and that he will mandate that all people take the mark of the beast?
What is you plan to avoid taking this mark, as the consequence of not complying is death?
Do you know that if you take the mark of the beast, you are willing and aware that you would then belong to Satan, and lose your soul for eternity?
Do you know that there are NO SECOND CHANCES for those who take the mark of the beast? Can’t you see the incredible risk here, from not learning about these prophetic teachings?
Do you know that God intends to pour out 7 bowls of Wrath upon all of the inhabitants of the earth… That’s right…God will be punishing ALL of the inhabitants of the earth during the Tribulation period. Do you know why He is doing this?
Will You be one that is left on earth, with the billions of others, to have to endure ALL of the hardships of the Tribulation Period?
Now, I’d like for all of you to ask yourself…
”Aren’t these things teachings important enough that a PROPHET of God would be sharing with the world?”
YES, they are. If members of a church were going to face an upcoming event, that they would likely be deceived into taking a mark which resulted in the loss of their soul, ANY SPIRITUAL LEADER would be teaching about this to their congregation…Especially a Prophet of God!
So, why don’t they?? Let me be bold and simply state my own conclusion. The less people know, the easier they will be to be deceived. Remember, deception is a big part of the end times?!?
“No, my leader would never lead me astray…we have been promised that.” Can I respectfully say that he already has!!! If a leader has not taught you about the most spiritually important time on earth, they have indeed already led you astray. YOU HAVE BEEN LEFT VENERABLE, and are a prime candidate for this prophetic teaching:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
Do you see yourself as one of God’s very elect? “Exactly, Point Just Made!”
As well as this scripture…
Matthew 7:21–23 (KJV):
21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
My intent of this writing today is to help you see that you too can know just how close we are to the return of Jesus Christ through the rapture. This knowledge and understanding are up to YOU.
Grab your Bible, get on your knees and include God in your study. Then…get after it. God will tell you, just as He told the prophets in the Bible all about the 7-year Tribulation Period that will shortly begin. Take ownership of your spiritual understanding, and DON’T trust anyone other than GOD, for sadly there are spiritual leaders that WILL deceive you. They already have, to which I have had first hand knowledge of this in my own personal life.
Secondly, I want you to find out for yourself what is required to ensure that you are included in the rapture. BECAUSE… if you are not taken, you will HAVE TO ENDURE the 7-year Tribulation Period…Yes, that includes God’s Wrath.
And you will come to learn the other prophecies in the bible that include the part where God is trying to humble the “stubborn” into accepting Him as their Savior, and becoming Born Again, receiving that spiritual transformation that is taught so well in the pages of the bible.
Your future is simply in your own hands now. For those of you who are already “in Christ” as taught in Bible prophecy, learn about God’s rescue plan of the rapture, and know that you will be removed from all of the Tribulation that is coming.
Learn of the season of the rapture, (which we are currently in), so that you will not be surprised, and rather be actively watching for His return.
Learn of God’s promise that those who are taken in the rapture will “forever be with the Lord” in “heaven.” Do you know how comforting that very teaching has been for me? Getting into heaven is very different from how many of you were taught through your religion. You can learn this by studying the Atonement of Jesus Christ as taught in the bible, as well as becoming Born Again, and being “in Christ.”
Learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ as He taught while upon the earth, and that we are not to consider any other teachings that what He has taught to us:
Paul gave a very strong warning in Galatians 1:8-9 (KJV):
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”— Galatians 1:8, KJV
He immediately repeats the warning in the next verse:
“As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” — Galatians 1:9, KJV
Paul’s point is that the true gospel does not change. Even if a respected teacher, an apostle, or even an angelic being were to proclaim a message that contradicts the gospel already revealed through Jesus Christ, believers are not to accept it.
Paul also warned:
“For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
— 2 Corinthians 11:14, KJV
For this reason, Christians are instructed to test all teachings against the BIBLICAL Scriptures:
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
— Isaiah 8:20, KJV
According to the KJV Bible, the standard for truth is not the authority of the messenger, but whether the message agrees with God’s revealed Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To all in closing, as we are running out of time. Please spend today studying if you will be included in the rapture or not, for this is URGENT!!!
If you are, then you can relax, and just start watching for this rescue plan to happen. Don’t worry about any other thing. Yes, we’ve been deceived by church leaders, but that’s not critical right now. Be certain that you are ready today.
Then after you have satisfied that, spend time in getting to know Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible. You will learn that the atonement of Jesus Christ is a Gift to all mankind, but is not forced upon anyone, and how we must accept His atonement by becoming Born Again as taught in the Bible. Many of you might have already had this transformation, yet didn’t understand the significance of what was happening.
Yes, it’s time to get uncomfortable, for this will motivate you to study. And the more you study, the more you will see the COMFORT in God’s plan for those who belong to Him, as written in this Rapture scripture:
1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 (KJV)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words
When you realize that Christ Himself is coming to rescue those who belong to Him, you will have incredible comfort!! He will be saving us from the 7-year Tribulation Period. And from that moment on, we will be with Him FOREVER!! Can’t you see how God wants His children to know that?
And for those who don’t want to bother with all of this, just know that when you are left behind, YOU ARE NOT HEADED TO HEAVEN, and you are at great spiritual risk at that moment. God will be humbling you to get your attention. His plan also includes sending 144,000 “missionaries” during the Tribulation Period to teach you how you can Come to Christ. Seek them out! Follow their teachings!!!
Regardless of the mortal consequences, do as they say, for if you choose to follow the very deceptive world leader, the antichrist, and take his mark, you will join satan in the “Lake of Fire” as taught through these prophecies, and spend eternity there in misery. Important? I certainly think so.
I’ll see many of you very soon, as out mortal experience is about to come to an end. And for those of you who are left behind, I’m already praying for you that you will come to know Jesus Christ, through the plan that God has for you as well.
“Comfort one another with these words!”
