President Trump’s Board of Peace Meeting Today – Any “End-Times” Significance? (KJV)

Today, February 19, 2026, President Donald Trump hosted the inaugural meeting of his newly formed “Board of Peace” in Washington, D.C., at the United States Institute of Peace.

The building that they met in was established by congress in 1984 and named United States Institute of Peace. In December of 2025, it was renamed the “Donald J. Trump U.S. Institute of Peace.”

I’d like to begin by pointing out the reference to “Peace,” as noted in the scriptures:

1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV) “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Jeremiah 6:14 (KJV) “They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”

Jeremiah 8:11 (KJV) “For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”

Ezekiel 13:10 (KJV) “Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:”

These passages (from Jeremiah and Ezekiel) describe false prophets misleading people with empty promises of peace amid impending calamity, often interpreted in end-times discussions as paralleling the sudden shift from proclaimed peace to destruction in 1 Thessalonians 5:3.

We who are watching end times prophecy unfold are very aware of “Deception” that will be a key factor, as well as the promise of PEACE. A world committee titled as well as having the purpose of PEACE is certainly worth keeping our eye on.

So, what was discussed today? Was their anything of significant substance relating to end times prophecy? One thing that stands out to me is this:

Trump announced during the meeting that he plans to formally appoint Jared Kushner as a Special Envoy for Peace alongside Steve Witkoff. If you are making a “Short List” of potential antichrist candidates, perhaps this information might influence you.

These two men are NOT headline produces, but are very powerful men “behind the scenes.” I invite you to continue with your studies into what they are accomplishing as it relates to bringing PEACE to the world.

Here are some of the details of today’s meeting:

Attendance and scope:

Representatives from at least 20–40+ countries attended, numbers vary slightly by report, including leaders, foreign ministers, or envoys. Some key U.S. allies were notably absent or wary. The event lasted several hours, with remarks from various participants.

Gaza focus:

Discussions centered on next steps for the ceasefire, postwar plans like deploying Palestinian police officers (e.g., announcements about 5,000 officers in coming months), restoring security/services, and establishing a technocratic administration in Gaza. Trump expressed optimism, calling the war in Gaza “over” in some remarks despite ongoing concerns.

Funding pledges:

Member countries and participants committed around $7 billion collectively for Gaza’s reconstruction and relief. The United States, under Trump, pledged an additional $10 billion to the Board of Peace, which he described as a small amount compared to the costs of war.

As of now (late February 19, 2026), no specific date has been announced for the next meeting. During today’s session, Trump mentioned that Norway intends to host the subsequent gathering, but details like timing, location, or agenda remain unconfirmed in public reports and statements.
