I would like to share the details of the end times in a clear, direct, scripture-based format with you, so that you can understand what the prophets of the Bible saw concerning our day.
Think of this… God wanted you and me to know what is going to happen to us, RIGHT NOW, as we enter one of the most important periods of History ever! He has inspired His prophets, thousands of years ago, to teach us such detail of the final seven years on the earth.
So, how do we know that we are living in the end times? Let’s look at two very distinct prophecies to answer that question:
Matthew 24:32–34 (KJV), Jesus teaches the parable of the fig tree while describing the signs of the end times. He says that when the fig tree begins to put forth leaves, you know that summer is near; likewise, when the signs He described begin to occur, His return is near. Many prophecy teachers interpret the fig tree as symbolic of Israel, and since Israel was restored as a nation in 1948, they believe Jesus was implying that the generation that witnesses Israel reborn would not completely pass away before the major end-time events and His return occur.
The key verse says, “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” (Matthew 24:34 KJV). This interpretation suggests that Israel’s rebirth is a prophetic marker indicating that the world has entered the final period leading up to Christ’s return.
Psalm 90:10 describes a human generation as spanning roughly 70–80 years. When applied to Israel’s rebirth, it places the return of Jesus Christ in a time window of:
1948 + 70-80 years = 2018 thru 2028 – (2026 is within this windowof time of Christ’s return.)
Key Fact – We are currently living in the time prophesied that Jesus Christ would return to the earth, 2018 thru 2028.

A second “Time Stamp” prophecy has to do with the 7,000-year period of time for this earth. Many Bible scholars and prophecy teachers believe God has a 7,000-year plan for mankind:
- 6,000 years of human labor and history (the “days” of man)
- 1,000 years of rest during the Millennial reign of Christ (the “Sabbath” millennium)
This idea mirrors the creation week:
“For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past.” (Psalm 90:4)
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years…” (2 Peter 3:8)
A Brief Timeline Since Adam (approximate):
- Creation of Adam: ~4000 BC
- Jesus Christ’s Birth: ~1 BC
- Crucifixion and Resurrection: ~32 AD
- From the Resurrection of Christ to today, 2026 ~ 1994 years
In this interpretation, the years of Jesus Christ’s life on earth are often viewed as a transition point between the two eras of human history. They are not to be counted in the 6,000 years of mankind upon the earth.
So, here are the numbers of man’s existence upon the earth to date:
From Adam to Jesus Christ’s Birth – 4,000 years
From Christ’s death to His Second Coming – 2000 years
So then, 32 AD + 2000 = the year 2032 will be the return of Jesus Christ
Key Fact – Jesus Christ will return to the earth for His Second Coming in the year 2032, which will also end the 6,000 years of the “Time of Man” upon the earth.
Now that we have some time stamps of when Christ will return, there are still several other prophecies that we need to consider to apply to the years that we have identified.
Let us stick to the facts of the prophecies to learn another very important “time frame” that will occur in the end times.
The 7-Year Tribulation Period of Time
Daniel teaches of a 7-year time period that will be the final years upon the earth.
Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
This verse is one of the clearest prophecies about the 7-year Tribulation period. The “one week” refers to one prophetic week of years (7 years). According to the passage, a future leader—often identified as the Antichrist—will confirm a covenant (peace agreement) with many, likely involving Israel. However, in the middle of the seven years (after 3½ years) he will break that agreement, stop the sacrifices in the temple, and commit the “abomination of desolation.” Jesus later warned about this exact event in Matthew 24:15, showing that Daniel’s prophecy points directly to the end-times tribulation before Christ’s return.
Let’s start to merge the things that we have just learned so far together. This final 7-year period of time has not started yet. We know this because this “Peace Agreement” with Israel and some surrounding countries has not yet been signed.

We do see that the potential governing board that will likely sign this peace agreement has already been formed in Dec 2025. President Donald Trump has established the “Board of Peace” consisting of representatives of many nations including Israel, with the purpose of establishing Peace in Israel, as well as the world.
Using the time stamp of Christ’s return in 2032, we need to subtract 7 years to account for the 7-year tribulation period.
2032 – 7 years = 2026
In doing so, we come up with the year 2026, which is this year. To me, and others, this indicates that the 7-year Tribulation period will begin this year…2026.
Using the information provided, we have concluded:
The 7-year Tribulation Period will begin in the year 2026.
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ will occur in the year 2032
Now, let’s return to the first prophecy regarding the Birth of Israel + a generation? This suggests that Christ will return in the years 2018 thru 2028. But wait, we have already established the returning year of Christ to be in the year 2032. Is there an additional time that Jesus Christ will return to the earth besides His Second Coming? The answer is YES, there is!!
The scriptures teach us that Jesus Christ will return TWO separate times in the End Times. To understand this, we must first recognize the purpose of each “visit.” Let’s start with the one that most people are fimilure with.
The King James Version of the Bible teaches that after the seven-year Tribulation period, Jesus Christ will return to the earth in power and glory to defeat evil and establish His kingdom. Revelation 19 describes this moment when heaven opens and Christ appears riding a white horse, called Faithful and True. He comes as the righteous King and Judge, followed by the armies of heaven—His saints, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Together they return to confront the Antichrist and the armies of the world gathered against God. Revelation 19:11–14 (KJV) says,
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True… And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”
At the battle of Armageddon, Christ defeats the forces of evil and destroys the Antichrist’s kingdom. This is His purpose of this appearance, to destroy evil.
The prophet Zechariah also foretold that when Jesus returns, He will physically stand upon the earth. Zechariah 14:4 (KJV) declares, “And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east…”
Key Points: Jesus Comes to the earth to defeat the antichrist and evil. He physically comes to the earth, and His feet touch the Mount of Olives. He returns with “His Church” (His followers). Evil is destroyed, and Christ will usher in the 1,000-millennial period of time.
There is also another event, SEPARATE, taught in scripture where Jesus Christ will return to the earth which is called the Rapture. Let’s begin to understand this by learning the purpose of this visit.
Just like the times of Noah, God provided a rescue plan for His righteous followers. He had Noah build an ark, and when the flood waters came, Noah and his family were rescued from the flood by boarding the ark.
Similarly, God plans on rescuing His followers from the earth prior to His pouring out His wrath, during this 7-year Tribulation period. His planned judgment for the earth is not with His followers. His WRATH is planned for those who are NOT following Jesus Christ. For this reason, God’s plan is to send Jesus Christ and remove His followers from the earth, by lifting them up into the air. Let’s learn about this.
The Rapture is the moment when Jesus Christ comes in the clouds to gather His believers before the time of great tribulation on the earth. The Apostle Paul describes this event in 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV):
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
In this moment, believers who have died will be resurrected, and those who are alive, and are “in Christ” will be instantly changed and caught up to meet Jesus. This event is meant to be a comfort and a promise to the church that Christ will rescue His people before God’s judgment falls on the world.
The Rapture happens suddenly and unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.
1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV) says, “
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump.”
At that instant, believers will receive glorified bodies and be taken to be with the Lord. After the church is taken, the earth will enter the period known as the seven-year tribulation, when the Antichrist will rise and great judgments will fall upon the world. Because of this promise, Scripture urges people to place their faith in Jesus Christ now, so they may be ready when the Lord calls His church home.
Key Points – You will notice several important facts that separate these two events of Christ coming back to the earth. In the rapture, Christ comes FOR His church, not with them. In His Second Coming, Christ comes WITH His church. Additionally, Jesus’s feet do not touch the earth during the rapture, like they do in His final return.
The purpose of the Rapture is Jesus coming for His “Bridegroom,” to rescue “His church” from the upcoming tribulation period, NOT to destroy evil as He will do in His final return.
Let’s continue learning about additional “time stamps” relating to the Rapture of the Church, so that we can put these events in the proper sequence.
It is important to realize that the end times are specifically planned by God Himself. Everything will happen according to God’s desire. We must know this, specifically to understand His timing that He has planned.
God will not allow the antichrist to appear onto the world stage until something very important happens.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:6–8 (KJV) the apostle Paul teaches that there is currently a force restraining the full rise of evil in the world. He writes,
“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time… only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”
The word “letteth” in the King James language means to restrain or hold back. Many Bible teachers understand this restrainer to be the Holy Spirit working through the true Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. As long as the Spirit-filled church remains present, the Antichrist cannot fully rise to power because God is limiting lawlessness. Paul then says that once the restrainer is “taken out of the way,” the “Wicked” (the Antichrist) will be revealed and begin his global deception.
This is where we see the rapture fitting into the timeline. When the church is removed from the earth, the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit working through believers is also removed, allowing the Antichrist to appear and the tribulation period to begin. Immediately after the restrainer is gone, 2 Thessalonians 2:8 (KJV) says
“then shall that Wicked be revealed.”
In this understanding, the rapture happens first, the restrainer is removed, and only then can the Antichrist step onto the world stage and begin the events leading into the seven-year tribulation.
Can you see how all of these prophecies are now coming together?
If Jesus Christ is coming back in the year 2032, then the 7-year Tribulation Period must begin in the year 2026. And, as we’ve learned, the Rapture must occur before the Tribulation Period begins. This being the case, the rapture could happen at any moment now.
Now, for those of you who are screaming at me saying,
Mark 13:32 (KJV)
“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”
It is time that you see exactly what this scripture is telling us. It specifically states that no man nor angel knows the day or the hour. That’s it! It does not say that mankind cannot know the year, or even the season of His return. We can, and do know, the YEARS of His returns because of the teachings of the Bible through the prophets.
Conclusion
The Rapture can occur any day now, and will happen in the year 2026.
Following the Rapture, the “Restrainer” God’s holy spirit will be removed as those who have that Spirit will have been taken during the rapture.
This allows the Antichrist to appear on the world stage.
The antichrist will be revealed to the world as a signer of the 7-year peace agreement, which will be between Israel and surrounding nations. This will likely happen during a meeting with the “Board of Peace.’
The signing of this Peace Agreement starts the 7-Year Tribulation Period. This will be the final 7 years upon the earth for ALL Mankind.
