What Will the Conditions Be Like on Earth Prior to the Rapture – Short Answer, Just Like they Are TODAY

January 30, 2026 | www.gospelofjesuschrist.blog | River Wilde

There are still many people on earth that want PROOF that we are in the season of the Rapture. I often hesitate to respond to this, because they should really be asking God for this conformation, rather than to expect others to display the truth of what is happening all around them.

It really comes down to one thing…are you teachable? Are you humble enough to see what God is showing you, or do you have the trye of personality that always challenges everything others are telling you, just so that you can convince them that you already know it all?

As we let this guard down and become humble, we are open to learning the truth. None of us know it all! Yet many are excited and open to learning the things that God is revealing to us today…The Truth! Something that might have been hidden through the craftiness of satan, in hopes that he could deceive us.

I wanted to search the Bible, and see what the conditions would be like prior to the rapture, and this is what I’ve found.

1. Truth and Deception Being Exposed at the Same Time

Right before the rapture, God allows truth to come into the open—while deception also intensifies. My past three writing have been about this subject. A very important event that is beginning to happen at this very moment.

“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”
—Luke 12:2 (KJV)

Many people suddenly recognize false teachings, compromised doctrine, or institutional control in their churches. At the same time, others double down on lies. The contrast becomes sharp.

2. A Great Falling Away

Not just unbelief—but people walking away from organized religion after discovering it doesn’t align with Scripture.

“For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first…”
—2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV)

This includes declining church attendance, churches closing, and believers choosing Scripture over systems. In essence the “falling away” includes people leaving religions due to untruths, as well as people leaving God entirely.

To me this also demonstrates the division that is happening right now. The TRUTH becomes more evident for the righteous causing them to return to the Bible for ALL truthful teachings, as well as Deception increasing causing people to leave God all together. This has been evident as we watch some churches close, or at the very least, see a drop in attendance. (By the way, how are you responding to this revelation of exposed truth? Are you running toward God, or running away from Him?)

3. Peace-and-Safety Messaging

The world will insist everything is improving spiritually and globally—right before sudden judgment.

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…”
—1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)

Watch for global unity language, interfaith movements, and political or religious leaders promising stability apart from repentance. We are already seeing this “Talking Point” in many of President Trump’s messages…”Peace and Safety.” Committees are forming, and there is focus to end current wars. Sounds AWESOME to hear, but we know that this is a false peace that will be coming.

But it is the message language that is fulfilling prophecy… “Peace and Safety.” I invite you to be listening for this expression from world leaders.

4. Emotional Spirituality Replacing Scripture

Feelings, experiences, and personal “truth” will outweigh the Bible.

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…”
—2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV)

Emotional spirituality is increasingly replacing Scripture today as many churches elevate feelings, personal experiences, and perceived impressions from God above the clear teaching of the Bible. Worship is often designed to create emotional highs rather than impart truth, difficult doctrines are softened or avoided to prevent discomfort, and love is redefined as affirmation without correction.

Personal testimonies and “my truth” are treated as authoritative, while repentance, judgment, and discernment are minimized or labeled unloving. As a result, spiritual truth is measured by how something feels rather than whether it aligns with God’s unchanging Word, even though Scripture warns that sound doctrine would be rejected in favor of teachings that appeal to emotions in the last days.

5. Moral Collapse Becoming Normalized

What Scripture calls evil will be openly celebrated.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
—2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)

Pride, lawlessness, lack of natural affection, and viewing immoral acts will no longer shock society. Can’t you see this happening right now? Evil has become a very “comfortable NORM” for many. People are refusing to get married, and choosing a more convenient option of living together. Dating sights list “immoral acts” that a person prefers or is good at, rather than promoting character strengths.

6. A Sense of Urgency Among True Believers

God stirs watchfulness in those who belong to Him.

“When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
—Luke 21:28 (KJV)

You’ll notice a growing burden to warn others, cling to Scripture, and separate from deception. As we’ve been discussing, this is happening now as well. Many people are learning the truth about the gospel of Jesus Christ as He taught in the Bible. Religious deception is being exposed, creating a STRONG desire for followers of Jesus to seek and learn of this new truth that has come to light. Some people are CRAVING the Truth.

7. The Church Becoming Smaller—but More Refined

The rapture isn’t preceded by revival—it’s preceded by refinement.

“Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
—Luke 18:8 (KJV)

Fewer believers, but stronger discernment. Satan’s deception has become strong and is finding success in many people who are on the earth. This fulfills the prophecy that the “Great Falling Away” must occur prior to the rapture, and this is certainly evidence of that happening right now.

So, to those who require “Evidence” that we are in the season of the rapture, you’ve just been given that EVIDENCE. However, I feel that the bigger question is, “Are you prepared to be included when the rapture happens?”

Sadly, many people wait until the very last moment before preparing for an event. The rapture is no different. It is even prophesied in the scriptures:

Parable of the Ten Virgins, focused on preparedness for Christ’s coming:

In the parable Jesus taught, He said that the kingdom of heaven would be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom; and five of them were wise, and five were foolish. The wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps, but the foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept; and at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps, but the foolish found their lamps gone out and were unprepared, while the wise were ready and went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. (Matthew 25:1–10, KJV)

This parable reflects what is happening today. HALF of “religious” people are prepared to be caught up to be with Christ in the clouds during the rapture, and HALF are not prepared…and the “door was shut.”

It’s a very common expression for a person to say “Prove to me that this is the case,” which is actually the same way of saying, “I don’t need to prepare yet.”

We are in the season of the rapture, this I know! I am prepared to be selected when Christ comes for His Church; This I KNOW as well. How about YOU? Do you KNOW that you will be included in the rapture, or are you the HALF of those who are unprepared and will be left behind?

Scripture also supports this “Half” being prepared, and “Half” being left behind:

“I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the oneshall be taken, and the othershall be left.
Two women shall be grinding together; the oneshall be taken, and the other left.
Two men shall be in the field; the oneshall be taken, and the other left.”

— Luke 17:34–36 (KJV)

Don’t leave this preparation up to “Your Church” to ensure that you are ready. Jesus taught us what we need to do to prepare and it’s written in His writings in the Bible. I invite you to seek this information out for yourself, so that you too will know that you will be included in the rapture, that will soon come to be.

I hope that you have caught the URGENCY of your preparation, and pray that you will come to know what is required to be included in the rapture.
