In my communication with many of you, I am coming to realize something very important that needs to be expressed today.
I’d like to begin by stating that we are all brothers and sisters. I have a deep love for all of you, even though we might not have met yet. I feel that I know something about you…I understand where you are in your spiritual journey in wanting to do your best, as well as your drive to make it through this mortal journey and to end up in “heaven” to live with Jesus Christ forever. This is the bond that holds all of us together, and we are very similar in wanting this for ourselves and families.
I would like to establish some credibility for authoring such an article. Since Retirement, I have spent the past 2 years studying the KJV of the Bible full-time. My focus has been twofold: In-depth Learning of the End-Times Prophecies written by prophets, and recorded in scripture. And the second: Learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ as He taught when He was on the earth, free of any bias spin placed on it by a religious organization…His words…His Truth.
For a moment, I would like to address us all as God’s children, regardless of which church we attend. We all belong to “God’s Church” if you will, followers of Jesus Christ…All united with the desire to return to Jesus Christ.
Can I pause here and state that this is exactly how God sees us? To God, we are Not Mormon, Not Jehovah Witness, Not Catholic, and Not Christian. We are all united in belonging to “His Church” the Gospel of Jesus Christ as He taught while He as on the earth. That really isn’t hard to imagine, as this is exactly how it will be after this life…Christ’s followers as well as Him being our leader…NO RELIGION Difference, all of us following His gospel as He taught in the Bible.
Now, I know that some churches, perhaps even yours, does not teach anything about the end times prophecies that were written by prophets and recorded in the Bible. Regardless of the reason why they are silent, you all must know that a very significant event will soon take place. It is called the Rapture.
The fact that your church doesn’t teach about it does not change the truth of what the prophets of the Bible have told us. TRUTH is not influenced by a person’s beliefs; Truth will happen regardless of anyone’s opinion. There is only ONE TRUTH. Just ONE God, and ONE Jesus Christ for all of us, regardless of our church membership.
Now, for those of you who have not been taught, let me explain the end times in a simple format so that you can see the importance… AND URGENCY of my writing today about the Rapture. (All information was taken from the KJV of the Bible).
The final 7 years on earth is called the Tribulation Period. This begins with the antichrist signing a 7-year peace agreement (which is currently in the works) with Israel and neighboring nations. The antichrist will become a new world leader, along with the False Prophet. Their focus will be to bring souls away from God, getting them to start following and worshipping ‘satan.’ This will be satan’s final chance to take people away from God.
Deception will be the flavor of the day during these end times. The antichrist will deceive many, and will mandate that all people on earth be killed unless they take his mark… the “mark of the beast”. Taking this mark will send you to the “Lake of Fire” and ultimately living forever with satan. He will promise everything, but will deliver nothing but empty promises…Just like he has done our entire life.
This final 7 years is also God’s time to “Punish Evil” and those who choose to follow evil in their lives. GOD intends to pour out His “Bowls of Wrath” (Revelation 15-16) upon all of the inhabitants of the earth. He also has 7-seals (Revelation 5, 6, & 8) that He will open, resulting in some death and hardship for the people on earth that have to endure this period of time.
The seven years will end with the Battle of Armageddon, (Revelation 16:12-16, 19:11-21) and the earth will forever be changed…all who are on earth will be killed.
This is the TRUTH, simplified, with what is coming. But let me share another truth, one that should make PERFECT SENSE for those of you who believe in a loving Heavenly Father.
Just like God parted the Red Sea, allowing His children to escape death and danger…Just as God directed Noah to build an ark to save HIS Children from the flood that would destroy the earth… GOD also has a RESCUE PLAN for His children, in removing them from this earth PRIOR to the final 7-year Tribulation period beginning. The Rapture.
My focus today is NOT to prove to you that the rapture is true…My purpose is to explain how a person qualifies to be taken up into the clouds, and be rescued. There might be some changes in your learning and belief that you need to incorporate right now so that you will be included.
Once again, your church, religion, has nothing to do with being taken in the rapture. God is not coming for just the Mormons, or just the Catholics…God is coming to rescue “His Church,” not a religion.
Many of you probably belong to “His Church” and do not even know that you are. So, what is God looking for as a “Qualifier” of the rapture. Who is considered members of His Church? Let’s go to the scriptures to answer that.
John 3:3
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
YES!!!! It is that simple. Are YOU Born Again? Being Born Again qualifies a person into belonging to His Church, as well as the qualifier to be included in the rapture. Let’s see how a person becomes Born Again.
There is no “checklist” in becoming born again, but let me explain the process according to the KJV of the Bible.
1. Recognize your lost condition. You are a sinner.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
Sin separates from God and earns death and hell. (Isaiah 59:2; Romans 6:23)
2. Acknowledge that we are Saved by GRACE through the atonement of Jesus Christ – You cannot save yourself. (This is a big one, and one that you might want to continue studying so that you can discover the truth.) Let’s learn mor about this…
Titus 3:5
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Romans 11:6
“And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.”
Titus 3:5
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.“
Romans 3:28
“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.“
Galatians 2:16
“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ.”
No amount of religion, baptism, or good works can produce the new birth of becoming Born Again. Can you see that we can not earn our way into heaven? Our Good WORKS are NOT the Root of salvation, rather, they are the FRUIT.
***I do not profess to be a judge of ‘who will make the rapture or not’, but I would like to stress a very strong point that you must consider. If you feel that you need your church, and/or your own good works in order to make the atonement of Jesus Christ effective for your salvation, and to make it into heaven, you do not understand the atonement.
It is my own belief that thinking that it is up to you, and the ordinances of your church to save you, you are actually offending the Savior by saying to Him that what He did for us was not enough. His sacrifice now needs your church and its ceremonies, and your good works, to make His sacrifice effective. Can you see that this is a false teaching of this version of the atonement of Jesus Christ which He has taught to us?
Do you believe God would truly see you as being Born Again if you believe in a false narrative of the atonement, trusting a church and your good works, rather than His sacrifice for our sins given to us as a gift? Please prayerfully consider this concept. We are not saved, “after all that we can do.” Again, our works have nothing to do with Salvation. There is a scripture that addresses this:
Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
3. Believe on Christ and His finished work
John 19:30
“…It is Finished.”
Jesus Christ had two purposes in personally coming to the earth. The first being to successfully complete the Atonement so that we can be forgiven of our sins. And the second: obviously, He needed to bring us the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to replace the law of Moses that was being taught at that time.
When Jesus Offered those words while on the cross, “It is Finished”, he was speaking about both of the assignments that He had come to the earth to complete. The atonement and teaching His gospel.
He did not say, “My part is finished… now it’s up to your church and your good works to make my atonement work.” Nor did He say, “I’ve started the gospel of Jesus Christ, and new doctrine will follow later in history”. He said in BOTH cases… “IT IS FINISHED.” Nothing more is needed.
A scripture that has been very helpful to me which supports this is Galatians 1:8 KJV
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
Paul emphasizes this warning again in verse 9, reinforcing the unchanging nature of salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone. It can not be changed… not even by an angel from God.
4. Personally repent and call upon the Lord
Scripture teachings help emphasize that the sinner must come to Christ in repentant faith, trusting Him alone for salvation and calling on Him to save.
While the exact words are not what save us, “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” is applied to this act of faith. There is no special phrase that needs to be said to become Born Again.
In short, when a person truly believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, in repentant faith; God, by His Spirit and through His word, causes that person to be born again. You can see it in their countenance. They will also become a changed person: A better version of themselves…CHANGED…Born Again. This change is not caused by the church, it comes from Jesus Christ Himself.
An interesting point that I have come to learn over the past two years is that the atonement of Jesus Christ was given to all mankind. However, just as it is with everything else in our lives, we all have free agency to accept it or NOT.
People that accept His atonement by becoming born again will receive forgiveness for ALL of their sins. They will be judged during the “Judgment Seat of Christ,” sinless, and rewarded with crowns for their good works, (2 Corinthians 5:10, Romans 14:10–12).
And those who do not choose to accept the atonement??? They will be responsible for ALL of their sins, because the atonement does not apply to them, disqualifying them from living in the presence of God. They will be judged during the Great White Thorne Judgment, (Revelation 20:11–15) and will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
Now, for those of you who say…”This is so simple to “qualify” for “heaven,” let me share the following scripture:
Matthew 11: 28-30
“28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Now, with what has been taught to you today, where do you go from here? It is not about switching, or leaving a church…This is not the important issue that you are facing.
Today, consider if you have answered the call of the Savior and become Born Again, as He has described in the bible? Perhaps you already have been.
If you are hung up on a concept, (ie: Saved by grace, not works), then PRAYERFULLY ask God to lead you towards the truth of His gospel. Listen to your promptings…continue your study in His gospel as He taught when He was on the earth (the Bible).
It is time to stop trusting any person, nor church, for your spiritual development. TRUST GOD…He will always confirm the truth. Don’t even trust my writings today without taking it to God first in prayer. You know the drill…
James 1:5-6
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”
Let this be our new focus…To take all things to God for understanding. He will keep us all on track of knowing the truth in these final days.
One last thought to share. A person does NOT have to believe in the Rapture to be included, for this is not a requirement. If you are “Born Again” God will find you and Rescue you from the Tribulation Period. You do not need to take my word as truth, but if you miss the rapture, at least you were warned.
Here are the details of the Rapture:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.“
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 adds:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
For those of us who have been studying the prophecies of the end times relentlessly, we know that we are in the “season” of the rapture. It is my opinion, through continual study and prayer that we are days/weeks away from this happening. Do not miss this rescue. If you do, you will sadly have to endure the final 7 years on earth.
Yes, you will still be able to Come to Christ by become born again after the rapture, but this will be doing it the “Hard Way.” You will have to endure all of the hardships foretold in the scriptures, and likely be put to death for your belief in Christ. Come and join us now…See that you are “Born Again.” Death will be avoided, as we will be changed in a moment, and will live with Christ from that day on. Rescued…forever!! Our Mortal Journey COMPLETE.
