On November 18, 2025, something happened on the world stage that most people barely noticed, yet it carries enormous prophetic weight for anyone who studies the book of Daniel in the King James Bible.
As part of his newly revealed 20-Point Gaza Peace Plan, former President Donald Trump introduced an international governing body called the Board of Peace, a structure that is now being discussed by prophecy-watchers as a possible early form of the covenant described in Daniel 9:27.
What makes this especially significant is that Trump himself will serve as the Chairman of this Board, while other global figures, including former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, have been placed in positions of influence beneath it. The United Nations has formally endorsed the plan, giving it international legitimacy and establishing the Board as a powerful, multinational overseer of Gaza’s reconstruction, demilitarization, and governance.
The creation of this Board is not a simple cease-fire agreement. It is a sweeping international arrangement involving many nations, financial commitments, security forces, and transitional political authority over Gaza—one of the most prophetically sensitive territories on earth.
In Daniel 9:27, the Scriptures declare, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week,” with “one week” understood by Bible scholars to represent seven years. For the first time in world history, a peace structure is emerging that aligns with the central features of Daniel’s prophecy: it is a covenant-like agreement involving many nations, centered on the land of Israel, and backed by global authority.
Under the plan, the Board of Peace will install a temporary technocratic Palestinian administration to run Gaza’s daily operations under international supervision. This means that governance in Gaza is shifting into the hands of a global–regional hybrid authority, something never before seen in the region.
In addition, a multinational force called the International Stabilization Force will be deployed to enforce demilitarization, secure borders, and ensure compliance. Gaza has never had a multinational enforcement mechanism imposed upon it before, making this moment entirely unprecedented.
There is also a time-bound mandate attached to the Board of Peace. Some documents suggest that its initial authority will last until the end of 2027, though analysts point out that international bodies almost always expand rather than dissolve. A transitional window can easily evolve into a longer-term covenant, especially if compliance issues arise. This is where prophecy-watchers are especially focused. While the plan does not yet declare a formal seven-year term, the structure is in place, the authority has been granted, and all the necessary framework has been established for such an agreement to be confirmed or extended.
When comparing the Board of Peace to Daniel’s prophecy, several striking parallels emerge. The covenant in Daniel is said to be made “with many,” and this new agreement is unquestionably multinational. Daniel’s covenant is not described as a brand-new treaty but one that is “confirmed,” or strengthened—something that matches the way this peace arrangement builds upon earlier efforts while consolidating global oversight.
The prophecy centers on the region of Israel and its borders, precisely where this governing body is now being placed. And while Daniel speaks of a seven-year period, the unfolding political reality shows that this deal could very easily transform into a longer-term international covenant.
Whether this peace plan explicitly becomes the seven-year covenant or serves as its foundation, the moment is undeniably significant. For the first time, the world is watching a political structure arise that matches the prophetic pattern laid out in Scripture. Global leadership, international oversight, financial control, border security, reconstruction authority, and a transitional governing period have all converged in a way that mirrors the prophetic architecture described by Daniel, Jesus, and the apostle John.
For decades, prophecy students asked what event might mark the true beginning of the final seven years before Christ’s return. Now, in November 2025, many believe we are seeing the earliest form of that event take shape. It has not yet been declared a seven-year covenant, but the foundation is being laid. The structure is rising. The pattern is matching. And for those who believe the Bible, this may very well be the moment to watch more closely than any other in our lifetime.
For those who have been watching this prophecy unfold, this is conformation that we are indeed in the season of the rapture, as it will occur prior to the official 7-year agreement being signed.
For many, they have stopped looking for the signs of the end times, rather, they are listening for the sound of the trumpet to call them home.
