End-Times Prophecies from Three Separate Religious Groups – Jewish, Christian, and Muslim. Interestingly, Similar

November 18, 2025 | www.EndTimesWatch.blog | River Wilde

Across the world’s three great Abrahamic faiths—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—there is a growing sense that history is moving toward the end-times. What is remarkable is that all three religions anticipate:

  • a time of global turmoil,
  • unprecedented deception,
  • a final tyrant or false messiah,
  • and a divinely appointed Redeemer who will intervene.

While their interpretations differ, the signs each group watches are often the same. Each is aware that we are in the end-times, and awaiting a leader to see them through.

So, what are the similar, yet different, interpretations that each have regarding the last days? Seeing these things help us recognize that we are truly living in the end times.

The Return to Israel

Jewish Expectation

Prophet’s spoke of a global regathering of the Jewish people (Isaiah 11:12; Ezekiel 36). Modern Israel’s rebirth is seen as miraculous.

Christian Interpretation

Christians see Israel’s regathering as a major sign of the last generation (Matthew 24:32–34). It shows God turning His attention back to Israel for the final chapter of prophecy.

Muslim Perspective

Islam does not predict a regathering of Jews as a sign — but does acknowledge that major end-times events will center on the Holy Land, especially Jerusalem, before the final judgment.

Rising Conflict Over Jerusalem

Jewish Expectation

Zechariah 12 prophesies all nations gathering against Jerusalem before the Messiah comes.

Christian Interpretation

Christians agree — seeing this as the buildup to Armageddon and the rise of Antichrist.

Muslim Expectation

Islam teaches that al-Masih ad-Dajjal (the Islamic Antichrist) will wage war, and that the final global battles will occur in the Levant, especially near Jerusalem.

All three faiths expect the Middle East to become the world’s focal point. It’s ironic to me to know that these same locations of sacred spots have been the cause of contention and war for 2,000 years. And now, this is where that battle will end.

A Coming False Messiah

Jewish Expectation

Judaism warns of false messiahs who will mislead Israel before the true Mashiach appears.

 A future human king, not divine

  From the line of David

  A leader who will restore Israel

  One who rebuilds the Temple

  A ruler who brings world peace

  A guide who leads all humanity to worship the one true God

 The coming of the Messiah

Christian Expectation

Christian prophecy foretells a global deceiver — the Antichrist — who will rule the world, desecrate the Temple, and demand worship (2 Thessalonians 2; Revelation 13).

Christian View (New Testament Prophecy)

Most Christians believe the last-days figure is Jesus Christ, returning in glory to judge the world and establish God’s eternal kingdom. Key elements include:

  • The Second Coming of Christ: Jesus returns visibly, powerfully, and personally (Matthew 24:30; Revelation 19:11–16).
  • Purpose of His Return:
    • To gather believers (the rapture—according to pre-tribulation Christians).
    • To judge the nations.
    • To defeat the Antichrist.
    • To set up the 1,000-year Millennial Kingdom.
  • Characteristics: He comes as King of kings, Lord of lords, ruling with righteousness and justice.
  • Outcome: Evil is destroyed, Satan is bound, and Christ reigns on earth in perfect peace.

In Christianity, Jesus is the Messiah, and His return is the climax of God’s redemptive plan.

Muslim Expectation

Islam also teaches about a powerful last-days figure—the return of Jesus (Isa Ibn Maryam)—but with different roles and context. Muslim belief includes two major figures:

1. Al-Mahdi (The Guided One)

  • A descendant of Muhammad.
  • Appears shortly before the end times.
  • Brings justice, restores true religion, and prepares the world for Jesus’s return.
  • Not the Messiah—more of a divinely guided reformer.

2. The Return of Jesus (Isa)

Islam teaches that Jesus did not die but was taken up to God, and will return at the end of time.
When He returns, He will:

  • Defeat the Dajjal (Islam’s Antichrist).
  • Affirm the true monotheistic faith.
  • Restore justice and peace.
  • Rule the world according to God’s law.
  • Eventually die a natural death and be buried.

Muslims see Jesus as a prophet and the Messiah, but not divine.

The Rebuilding of the Temple

Jewish Expectation

For many Jews, the Temple must be rebuilt before the Messiah can reign in Jerusalem. They have not been able to offer sacrifices for 2000 years. Once the temple is rebuilt, they will continue offering sacrifices. The temple is key to the sacrificial aspect of their gospel.

Christian Expectation

Christians say the Third Temple is essential for end-times prophecy because Antichrist will enter it and proclaim himself god (2 Thessalonians 2:4). This “Jewish” temple is important in Christian prophetic scripture as it is a necessary building to allow the antichrist to fulfill the prophecy of the “Abomination of Desolation,” at the midway point of the 7-year Tribulation Period.

Muslim Expectation

Islam does not teach the rebuilding of the Temple — but does teach that end-times events center around Al-Aqsa / the Temple Mount, especially where Isa (Jesus) will eventually rule after defeating the Dajjal.

A Global Time of Tribulation

Jewish Expectation

“Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7) — a time of severe persecution and turmoil preceding redemption.

Christian Expectation

The Seven-Year Tribulation — dominated by war, famine, plagues, deception, and the Antichrist.

Muslim Expectation

The period of Fitna (Great Tribulation) — marked by civil war, moral collapse, natural disasters, and the rise of the Dajjal.

All three faiths anticipate a final global crisis before divine intervention. Fascinating, once again regarding the similarities of these three religions.

Convergence of All Three Faiths

From a Christian prophetic perspective, this is the astonishing part:

Jews expect the Messiah soon.

Muslims expect the return of Jesus soon.

Christians expect the return of Jesus soon.

All three agree:

  • Jerusalem will be at the center.
  • A false messiah will deceive many.
  • Final wars will shake the world.
  • A divine leader will bring justice.
  • History is rushing toward a climax.

Christians believe the answer is clear: these converging expectations point to the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

All will Come to Know the Savior

Christians believe that when Jesus returns:

“They shall look upon Me whom they have pierced.”
Zechariah 12:10

Jewish prophecy will be fulfilled.
Islamic prophecy will be fulfilled where it aligns with Scripture.
And Jesus Christ will be revealed as the King of Kings.

The “Religious World” is preparing right now for the End-Times. They are united in their belief that the last days are here. Each religious group is looking for similar “Characters” who will play a part in how the end times play out. When they appear onto the world stage, all will see them as the “character” that they have been waiting for, but will be surprised when the outcome only fits into the true teachings of the Bible.

SOME Jewish people will come to know that their “Messiah” is actually Jesus Christ.

Zechariah 12:10 (KJV)
“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son…”

And the Muslims?

Every Knee Will Bow — Including Muslims

The KJV teaches that all people will one day acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord:

Philippians 2:10–11 (KJV)
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

This includes all religions, all nations, all peoples.

This information lends credibility that we are living in the last days – the End Times, and are looking for similar events as they unfold. They are fulfilling prophecy, BOTH, true and false.

It is no surprise to me to see that the adversary mimics end times prophecy, again trying to lead people away from the truth. I can certainly see people of other faith exclaiming, “See…It’s happening just as our scripture prophesied!” Yet, as time progresses, the outcomes are very different. I am grateful to know that some will eventually see the TRUE MESSIAH, Jesus Christ, and will realize their deception, and choose to follow Him into the eternities.

I hope that you have found this information interesting and helpful in putting the pieces together of the end times. We are all attending the same “movie,” interested and on the edge of our seats. But when TRUTH plays out, it’s going to get very interesting.

The antichrist will do everything in his power to keep the deception alive. He will use “miracles” and all of his skills to cloud the spiritual eyes of many. HOWEVER…To ALL of you…God will be a “character” in this movie as well. You will see that He plans to DESTROY evil as He pours out His bowls of wrath upon the earth.

It is His intent to bring all to a level of humility, so that they can recognize their mistakes in following the “wrong god.” He is giving all a final chance to COME UNTO HIM, or live your eternity with an untruthful leader who is only interested in you being as miserable as he is, as you live in regret in the Lake of Fire.

Once again to all of the Watchmen who are on this blog, the world is interested in the End-Times. They might be taught about different events that will play out, but they are aware that we are coming to the end of an age. Discussions about their interpretation of the end times might be an effective way in presenting the truth that you have been given.

To all of you reading this writing, the 7-year Tribulation period is about to begin. Things are progressing regarding the 7-year peace agreement with Israel and accompanying nations, which means that the rapture could happen at any moment.

If you miss the rapture, there is a reason that you were not included! And, this reason requires immediate action on your part, for your very soul is at stake.

Only those who have given their life to Christ, and have become “Born Again” as detailed in the bible, were rescued by Christ in the rapture. Here is the evidence of this requirement:

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

If you are on earth after the rapture, You Are Not Born Again, and currently can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Your solution? Simple – It’s time to give your life to Jesus Christ, accept His atoning sacrifice, recognize that you are a simmer and repent of your sins. This is your solution of being able to join God in heaven in the few short months/years that you will have upon the earth.

I’m sorry, but I must be bold right now. Take a moment and realize that when the 7-year tribulation starts, the countdown begins. Seven years from that moment, everyone who is living on the earth will be killed. There Is NO Exception. The scriptures foretell the Battle of Armageddon. Let’s look:

The Battle of Armageddon is the climactic military confrontation at the end of the 7-year Tribulation, when the nations of the world gather to fight against Jesus Christ at His Second Coming.

The word Armageddon appears only once in the Bible:

Revelation 16:16 (KJV)

“And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”

The name comes from Har-Megiddo (“Mount of Megiddo”), located in northern Israel. The surrounding Valley of Megiddo / Jezreel Valley has been a historic battlefield for thousands of years.

God allows the nations to be drawn like puppets into judgment:

Revelation 16:14 (KJV)

“For they are the spirits of devils… to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

Shockingly, the armies are not merely fighting each other—they gather to fight against Christ Himself.

Revelation 17:14 (KJV)

“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them…”

They believe they can stop His return.

Armageddon occurs at the end of the Tribulation:

  1. Bowl judgments (Revelation 16)
  2. Nations gather at Armageddon
  3. Heaven opens—Christ returns
  4. The armies attempt to resist Him
  5. Jesus destroys His enemies with His Word
  6. Antichrist and False Prophet are cast into the lake of fire
  7. Satan is bound for 1,000 years
  8. Christ establishes His Millennial Kingdom

There is no long, drawn-out war. Christ destroys His enemies simply by speaking.

Revelation 19:15 (KJV)

“Out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations…”

Revelation 19:21 (KJV)

“And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth…”

The “sword” is symbolic of His Word—powerful, unstoppable, divine authority.

The Antichrist and False Prophet will receive immediate judgment:

Revelation 19:20 (KJV)

“The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet… These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

They are the first two beings ever to enter the Lake of Fire. Satan is restrained but not yet destroyed.

Revelation 20:1–2 (KJV)

“He laid hold on the dragon… and bound him a thousand years.”

There will be no survivors in this battle, for all will be killed. So, as the antichrist promises you an easy life if you will only take his mark, you will come to  realize that they were all just empty promises. Know that no matter what he says, your mortal life will be over in 7 years. Will you then be with God in Heaven, or will you be joining satan in the Lake of Fire?

Take action NOW and become Born Again. If you do not, at least you will now know where you will be spending eternity. Get your ticket to be a part of the rapture, as there are still “seats available.” Give your life to Christ right now while upon your knees asking Him to come into your life. There is IMMEDIATE peace by doing so, as well as an eternal future of living with a beautiful new world that God has prepared for us, surrounded by good people who are filled with love and compassion. And most importantly, we will be under the leadership of our Savior, Jesus Christ, “living” with a perfect body and mind. There can be nothing more glorious than this.

Raking the leaves in the yard can wait, your salvation is at stake. Come to learn what it means to become Born Again, and make this a priority in your life right now.
