Are We Really in the End-Times? –  Interest Surges Worldwide – What Can I Do?

November 15, 2025 | End Times Watch | River Wilde

A rising wave of global uncertainty is pushing more people than ever to revisit ancient questions about the “end times,” with conversations about biblical prophecy accelerating across social media, faith communities, and even secular news outlets. From wars and political instability to celestial signs and geopolitical realignments, millions are increasingly wondering whether current events align with long-standing prophetic warnings.

In recent weeks, online search engines have reported a sharp increase in queries related to the Book of Revelation, the Rapture, and apocalyptic predictions. TikTok, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter) have seen thousands of new creators posting videos speculating about the final days described in scripture. Some cite global conflicts; others point to economic turmoil, natural disasters, or even the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence. The tone varies widely—from sober biblical teaching to urgent predictions that the world is nearing a prophetic climax.

Church leaders across denominations say they are witnessing similar trends. Many pastors report that attendance in prophecy-focused sermons and Bible studies has doubled. Prayer groups have grown, and congregants are asking more direct questions than at any time in recent memory: Is the world ending? Are the signs finally coming together? What happens next?

Much of the anxiety stems from current headlines. Rising nuclear tensions, ongoing conflict in the Middle East, and political divisions in major world powers have created an atmosphere of global fragility. For many, these developments resemble Jesus’s warnings of “wars and rumors of wars.” Others point to the increase in natural disasters—earthquakes, wildfires, and global weather instability—as echoes of “birth pains,” terminology used in biblical prophecy to describe the events preceding the end of the age.

Social media influencers have amplified these concerns. Videos claiming prophetic insight regularly garner millions of views, often blending world news with selective biblical references. Some content creators warn that the Rapture is imminent, urging viewers to prepare spiritually. Others call for caution, suggesting that fear-based interpretations can lead to misinformation or unnecessary panic.

Still, even among skeptics, interest is undeniable. Sociologists note that periods of global instability historically spark renewed exploration of religious and apocalyptic ideas. “When people sense that old certainties are breaking apart, they turn to larger narratives to make sense of events,” one analyst explained. “End-times prophecy offers a framework—one that feels bigger than politics, bigger than economics, and capable of explaining deep cultural shifts.”

For believers, the rising attention has a different meaning entirely. Many view it as a sign in itself—evidence that humanity is awakening to spiritual realities long ignored. While interpretations vary, one theme is consistent: a growing sense that the world is approaching a major turning point.

Whether these concerns reflect literal fulfillment of prophecy or simply the fears of an unstable generation, one thing is clear—questions about the end times are no longer reserved for theologians. They are now part of everyday conversation, shaping the way people read the news, discuss world events, and think about their future.

As global tensions rise and uncertainties mount, the world is watching—and wondering—whether ancient words are echoing louder than ever in the headlines of today.

So, what can a person do to prepare for the end-times as prophesied in the scriptures?

First and foremost, it is imperative that one realize that we are participating in a spiritual battle between good and evil. Our mortal experience is coming to an end, as the Bible prophecies of 7-year tribulation period, which will be the final years on earth.

And this battle…Simply stated, is for your very soul.

God is giving His children one last chance to come to Him, and follow the teachings of Jesus: To be “Born Again” and accept the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, following Him, and repenting for their sins.

And for those who choose to continue serving evil, denying the salvation gift offered by Jesus Christ, and choosing the darkness of sin? Sadly, for them, God will be destroying these people along with the leader of evil, the advisory, and all of his followers. This is what is truly happening.

So, to all of you I say, “Choose what team you are on…and do it today.” No choice is a choice for following satan. Why is this so important?

It is important that you see things as they really are. Soon, the antichrist will appear on the world’s stage. He will be a FALSE leader, empowered by his ability to deceive. He will begin seducing all who will listen to him and his false promises. His “end-goal” is for you to “Take his mark” which is a contractual relationship with you to surrender your very soul to him, and promise to serve and worship him FOREVER! In doing so, you have just been given the judgment of living your eternal life after death in the “Lake of Fire.” MISERABLE!!

And for those who choose to follow God, and His Son Jesus Christ? A promise to live with Him forever in a glorious place “Heaven” that God will create for them. Filled with peace and harmony, surrounded by people who display a profound and deep love for one another. Living with a Perfect Body and mind, free from sin, sickness, and trials.

Furthermore, how does a person choose to follow Jesus Christ? What can YOU do right now to declare your desire to follow Him? God has given us that answer in the scriptures. Let’s take a look.

How to Become Born Again (KJV)

To be born again, you must come to Jesus Christ in genuine faith. The Bible says:

“Ye must be born again.” (John 3:7)

This new birth happens when you believe on Jesus Christ as your Savior.

1. Recognize Your Need for Salvation

The first step is realizing that all humans are sinners and need God’s forgiveness.

  • Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
  • Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

2. Believe in Jesus Christ

Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

  • John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
  • Acts 16:31 – “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

3. Repent of Your Sins

Repentance means turning away from sin and turning toward God.

  • Acts 3:19 – “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”
  • 2 Corinthians 7:10 – “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”

4. Confess Jesus as Lord

Confessing Jesus publicly is part of receiving Him.

  • Romans 10:9-10 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

5. Invite Jesus into Your Life

You can do this in prayer, personally inviting Him to guide, forgive, and live in your heart.

  • Revelation 3:20 – “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

What then Happens to a Person who Becomes Born Again?

Spiritual Regeneration

  • New life in Christ: Being born again is a spiritual rebirth. Jesus tells Nicodemus in John 3:3 (KJV), “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This means the person’s spirit is renewed; their relationship with God begins in a fresh and living way.
  • Indwelling of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit enters the believer, guiding, teaching, and convicting them, enabling them to live according to God’s will.

Repentance and Turning from Sin

  • The person experiences a genuine turning away from sin. They recognize past wrongs, feel sorrow for them, and desire to live in obedience to God.
  • Old habits, desires, and priorities begin to change as God transforms the heart (2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”).

Faith and Trust in Jesus

  • Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works. The born-again believer relies fully on Jesus’ death and resurrection to reconcile them to God.
  • There is a deep sense of peace and assurance that God loves them unconditionally and forgives their sins.

Changed Desires and Perspective

  • They develop a new hunger for God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers.
  • Priorities shift from worldly ambitions to eternal matters, seeking to glorify God in daily life.
  • The mind is renewed, leading to discernment between right and wrong (Romans 12:2, KJV).

Fruits of the Spirit Begin to Appear

  • As the Holy Spirit works in their life, character changes become evident: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, KJV).
  • These changes are gradual, but over time they demonstrate a transformed life.

Eternal Perspective

  • The born-again believer now looks forward to eternal life with God. Earthly trials are endured with hope and trust, knowing their ultimate destiny is secure in Christ.

In short: being born again is a complete spiritual renewal. It’s a shift from being spiritually dead in sin to being alive in Christ. The person begins a lifelong journey of transformation, guided by the Holy Spirit, producing both inward change and outward evidence in their life.

YES, we are in the end times. I think it’s fair to say that we are days/weeks away from the Rapture happening, and the Tribulation Period beginning, which will be the most terrible times upon this earth. There is nothing more important right now than choosing a side, and more specifically… CHOOSING the Side of God!

Those who become born again TODAY, as well as all other Born-Again Christians, can expect to be included in the rapture, and rescued from the awfulness that will play out here on earth. This should command every moment of every day until you have reached that relationship with your Savior Jesus Christ. This should be your priority.

Realizing that we are in the end times is certainly a start, but it is meaningless unless you sense the urgency of the situation if you have not given your life to Jesus Christ. Do it today, and receive the PEACE that will come into your life, along with the assurance of where you will be spending your eternity.

You’ve likely worked hard on this life trying to build a home and future for your family. This is commendable! Now do the same in building your mansion in heaven, where you will belong and live in the best neighborhood possible…Heaven: With Jesus Christ as your leader.

Myself, and many others, are praying for you right now that you will come to find Jesus Christ, and choose to belong to His team. Since it requires action on your part, do not put it off for another minute. It is something that you can do right now in the privacy of your home. Simply get down on your knees and ask that He comes into your life as your Savior. Ask Him to assist you in your progress of becoming born again. Listen to His promptings, for He will whisper thoughts into your mind.

For all of you who have already become born again, I admire your faithfulness, and pray for you as well. Let us ALL help one another in the preparation of the end times. The “Ark Doors” are closing, and the “Book of Life” boarding list is including its final entries. The “Great Flood” is days/weeks away. Where will you be when the rain starts to fall? I thank God that I will soon be with Him, as we celebrate the “Wedding Feast,” and receive the gift of an eternity to be with Him, in the new world that He will create for us.

See you all very soon!

(Please share this with the person that you are thinking about right now.)
