Human Trafficking: Revelation’s Prophecy Identified (KJV)

Posted November 13, 2025 | End Times Watch | River Wilde

In the final book of the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we find a sobering picture of the world just before His return — a time when corruption, greed, and moral decay dominate the global system. One of the most chilling descriptions is found in Revelation 18, where the Apostle John describes the fall of Babylon the Great, a symbol of the world’s godless empire built on wealth and wickedness.

The Merchants of the Earth

Revelation 18:11–13 (KJV) declares:

“And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones… and slaves, and souls of men.

This passage lists the world’s trade goods — gold, silver, fine clothing, luxury items — and then, shockingly, ends with “slaves, and souls of men.” It’s as if God wanted to draw our eyes to the ultimate evil that lies behind all greed: the buying and selling of human lives.

Modern Prophecy in Plain Sight

Today, we live in a world where human trafficking has become one of the most profitable industries on earth. Millions of children are kidnapped, sold, or exploited every year. They are treated as property — a modern form of slavery that fits perfectly into John’s ancient prophecy.

When the Bible speaks of “slaves and souls of men,” it’s not just describing physical bondage — it’s describing a spiritual corruption so deep that humanity itself becomes a product to be traded. The traffickers and profiteers of this evil represent the same spirit of Babylon — a system that values profit over people, power over mercy, and pleasure over purity.

God’s Judgment Is Coming

Revelation 18 continues by describing Babylon’s sudden downfall.

“Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire…” (Revelation 18:8 KJV)

The same system that profits from the suffering of innocents will be judged by God Himself. The world may seem to tolerate or even ignore such evil now, but divine justice is certain. Every tear shed by an enslaved child is seen by the Lord of Heaven, and He will avenge them.

Our Role as Believers

While we wait for that day, the Lord calls His people to separate from Babylon’s corruption:

“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins.” (Revelation 18:4 KJV)

We are called to stand against the exploitation of the weak, to defend the innocent, and to expose the darkness wherever it hides. In doing so, we become the light of Christ in a world drowning in spiritual night.

The Hope Beyond the Darkness

Even amid such horror, the message of Revelation ends in victory. Jesus Christ will return, and every chain will be broken. The traffickers, the abusers, and every unrepentant evil will face justice — but those who have trusted in Christ will reign with Him in peace and freedom forever.

As we see these prophecies unfold before our eyes, let us take courage. The cries of the enslaved will not go unanswered, and Babylon’s empire of sin will soon fall.

“And he shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain…”
Revelation 21:4 (KJV)

I ask that you join me frequently in praying for those who have been taken into the dark world of human trafficking. Ask that God’s comforting power be with all of these children, that they might somehow find an escape to the physical and mental bondage that they find themselves in. I feel strongly that God can remove them from the horror that they face, as He coddles them in His comforting embrace.

When we think about children who are abducted or trafficked, it’s natural to wonder how God can allow such evil — yet the Bible assures us that He is near to the brokenhearted and that no darkness escapes His sight. While we may not see it with our eyes, God is working in ways beyond human understanding to bring comfort, rescue, and justice. Here are a few biblical ways God comforts and helps abducted children:

God’s Presence in Their Suffering

Even in the darkest places, God’s presence is there.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.” — Psalm 23:4 (KJV)

Many who have survived unspeakable suffering have testified to a supernatural peace or strength that sustained them. God’s Spirit can enter a child’s heart and whisper hope, giving them endurance when there seems to be no way out.

Angels and Divine Protection

The Bible often shows that God sends His angels to protect and guide the innocent.

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” — Psalm 91:11 (KJV)

Even when physical rescue doesn’t happen right away, God’s angels can shield children from worse harm, calm their spirits, and lead them toward eventual freedom.

Jesus’ Deep Love for Children

Jesus made it clear that children hold a special place in God’s heart:

“Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 19:14 (KJV)

And He issued a grave warning to those who harm them:

“Whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck…” — Matthew 18:6 (KJV)

This shows that God not only loves these children deeply, but He takes their suffering personally and promises to bring judgment upon their oppressors.

Eternal Healing and Restoration

Even when a child’s life on earth ends in tragedy, God receives them into His presence, where there is no pain, fear, or tears.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” — Revelation 21:4 (KJV)

In eternity, every wound is healed, every injustice is made right, and the innocent are restored to perfect peace.

 God Moves People to Act

God often works through His people — stirring hearts to pray, expose evil, rescue victims, and bring traffickers to justice. When we pray for abducted children and those enslaved by evil, we become part of God’s answer to their cries.

“Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.” — Psalm 82:3 (KJV)

Even though the enemy works in darkness, God’s light will expose every hidden thing. The cries of the innocent are not forgotten. He hears. He moves. And in His perfect time, He will make all things new.

God, please help and comfort these children!
