God’s Plan is PERFECT, Yet Buffered by Free Agency – Why It’s FAIR

Posted November 7, 2025 |End Times Watch | River Wilde

Each and every one of us is unique. We are ALL different. How is that fair? I spend some time working out at the gym, and see people that have flawless bodies. Perfect height, full head of hair, ripped abbs…Perfect! Well, you might say that that person earned it…OK, let’s keep going.

I’ve worked in healthcare for my entire career. I’ve seen almost every imaginable disability that a person can have. How is that fair?

Throughout my life, I have had the pleasure to visit 3rd world countries. I met a mother and three small children who were living in a stick house made of cardboard. They were as poor as could be. How is that fair?

I met a man while serving a mission for my church when I was young. He lived is a mansion. A garage full of collected cars, and his home filled with the best that money could buy…Again, how is this fair?

I was born into a family that taught me about God, and the atonement of Jesus Christ. My friend was raised in a broken home, without any teaching regarding His Father in Heaven. How is this fair?

We all know people who seem to have an “Easy” life, without problems or concerns. Is this fair?

So, how could God create a plan for ALL of US, and make it FAIR? We are so very different, with varying circumstances that God has given us.

For a moment, let’s zoom out and realize the big picture. This earth life is not the “Prize.” I’m convinced that we were sent here to have experiences that help us develop into who we will become. I also know that the main reason that we are here to recognize that we can not live our life without partnering, and knowing Jesus Christ.

I’m also convinced, (now this is “Wilde” doctrine for a moment) God knows each one of us on a very personal level. In His “parenting” He has placed us in an environment with certain challenges and blessings, which would be best for our development on earth.

Now, let’s go back to that poor family that I met. Can I tell you that this family was the happiest family that I have ever come across? Even the kids, playing with rocks and sticks seemed to be living their best life. Had God given this family a trial due to being poor? You can answer that.

So, let’s discuss “The Perfect Plan” that God has for us.

As I write about the end times, I realize that sadly, some people will not be returning home to live with Jesus Christ in “Heaven,” because they will choose to follow satan.

However, I’d like to remind you of the details of God’s Perfect Plan for all of His children. He sent us to earth, and knew that we would sin. We’ve learned that we can not live with God due to sins, so He sent the ultimate solution. He would send His Son, Jesus Christ, to take upon all of the sins of the world. ALL of them – was the plan. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ each and every one of our sins can be forgiven, and we can become clean again. Being clean, now allows us to live with God…Sinless, if you will, because of our Savior.

Now, a very important detail relating to God’s perfect plan. God has given all of us “free agency” to choose things for ourselves. He does not, nor ever will force any person to make a specific choice.

The atonement is for EVERYONE, however, it must be the will of that person to accept the Sacrifice that Jesus has made for them. Those who accept Christ into their lives, and choose to follow Him, accepting His atoning sacrifice, will have a desire to repent of their sins to receive this forgiveness which is His Perfect Plan.

We’ve learned that these people will be seated at the “Judgment Seat of Christ” and will receive their “crowns” for the good which they have done. There will be no mention of a person’s sins, for they have all been forgiven through the atonement. They will then ALL live with Jesus Christ forever in a new place which He has made.

Key Scriptures (KJV)

Romans 14:10–12

“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:10

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

1 Corinthians 3:13–15

“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”

Meaning and Purpose

At the Judgment Seat of Christ:

  • Believers are judged—not for sin—but for their works and faithfulness.
Our sins were already judged at the cross (John 5:24, Romans 8:1). This judgment concerns rewards and loss of rewards based on how we lived our lives as followers of Christ.
  • It will reveal motives, faithfulness, and obedience.
The “fire” symbolizes testing by God’s holiness and truth. Only works done in sincerity, love, and faith will remain.
  • Rewards (crowns) will be given.
The New Testament mentions several crowns: the Crown of Life, Crown of Righteousness, Incorruptible Crown, Crown of Rejoicing, and Crown of Glory (James 1:12; 2 Timothy 4:8; 1 Corinthians 9:25; 1 Thessalonians 2:19; 1 Peter 5:4).
  • It is a moment of accountability and honor before the Lord.
Each believer will “give account” (Romans 14:12), standing before Jesus to review how they used their time, talents, and opportunities to serve Him.

Summary

The Judgment Seat of Christ is not a courtroom of fear, but a ceremony of reward—a divine evaluation of a believer’s earthly life in light of eternity. It determines position, praise, and reward in Christ’s kingdom, not salvation. Salvation is settled by faith in Jesus; the Judgment Seat determines what follows as a result of that faith.

For those who choose NOT to accept the atonement of Jesus Christ, they will be responsible for Each and Every Sin that they have committed? Why? Because they have refused the gift of the atonement and are thus held accountable for their sins.

We’ve also learned that these people will be Judged at the end of the 1,000-year millennial period during what is known as the “Great White Thorn Judgment.”

Scripture Reference

The main passage is found in Revelation 20:11–15 (KJV):

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

What It Is

The Great White Throne Judgment is the final judgment of all unbelievers—those who rejected God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

It takes place after:

  1. The Millennial Kingdom (Christ’s 1,000-year reign on earth — Revelation 20:4–6), and
  2. The final rebellion of Satan is crushed (Revelation 20:7–10).

At this point, heaven and earth are gone (“fled away”), showing that this judgment happens before the creation of the new heaven and new earth (Revelation 21:1).

Who Sits on the Throne

The One seated is Jesus Christ Himself, as confirmed in John 5:22:

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.”

Christ will judge with perfect righteousness — there will be no appeals, no partiality, and no mercy left for the unrepentant.

The Books

Two kinds of “books” are mentioned:

  1. The books – These record every deed, word, and thought (see Matthew 12:36). Judgment is based on these works, proving God’s justice.
  2. The Book of Life – This contains the names of all who have received eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:3, Revelation 3:5).

Anyone not found written in the Book of Life faces eternal separation from God.

The Sentence

  • “Death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.”
This means all the unsaved dead — those from every age — are resurrected to stand before God and are then cast into the lake of fire, the final place of punishment (Revelation 20:14–15).
  • It’s called the second death, meaning eternal separation from God, with no chance of redemption.

Key Distinction

The Great White Throne Judgment is not for believers.
Believers will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ (the Bema Seat) — 2 Corinthians 5:10 — to receive rewards, not condemnation.

The Great White Throne is for those who rejected salvation and will face eternal judgment.

Final Outcome

After this judgment, God creates:

“a new heaven and a new earth” (Revelation 21:1),
where those written in the Book of Life will live forever with Him in peace, joy, and righteousness.

One More Detail Left in God’s Perfect Plan

We now know that this plan is for everyone, yet some will refuse it. But will EVERY PERSON have a chance to learn of Gods perfect Plan, so that they can make an informed decision of accepting the atonement or not? If God’s plan is perfectly fair, this must be the case.

The King James Version (KJV) clearly teaches that all people will have a chance to hear and understand God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. Here are some key verses that show this truth:

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
🔹 God desires that everyone comes to repentance and be saved.

1 Timothy 2:3–4 (KJV)

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

🔹 God’s plan of salvation is meant for all men — no one is excluded.

Titus 2:11 (KJV)

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.”
🔹 Through Christ, the message of grace has been revealed to everyone.

John 1:9 (KJV)

“That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
🔹 Jesus is described as the Light who gives understanding and opportunity to every person born.

Matthew 24:14 (KJV)

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
🔹 Before the end comes, the gospel will be proclaimed to all nations, giving everyone a chance to hear and respond.

Summary:

The KJV makes it clear that God’s love and salvation are universal in offer, though not all will accept it. He ensures that everyone will have a fair chance to learn of His plan before judgment.

So, there you have it. God has a plan for all of His children to live with Him again for all eternity. And it is NOT a person’s sins that will make this determination. It is if a person has accepted the atonement of Jesus Christ, and has chosen to follow Him, repenting of the sins that they have committed, this is the determining factor. If you choose not to accept this gift of salvation, then you will receive a very different outcome.

I hope that this information has given you some insight as to the fairness of God’s plan for us. With so many differing factors that each of us face in this life, it simply comes down to will you accept the atonement of Jesus Christ, or will you choose to ignore it.

“HEAVEN” is the Prize. Living in closeness to Jesus Christ, surrounded by loving people, in a new world that He has created for us. Our bodies will all be PERFECT! This is the “Happily Ever After” that you have only dreamed about.

If you have not been “Born Again” as detailed in the Bible, I invite you to do so TODAY. Your eternal future depends upon this.
