What is the Truth of the “End Times,” – Why It Can Be Too Much – Here is the PEACE that You’ve Been Looking For

Posted October 28, 2025 | End Times Watch | River Wilde

I have been a man of faith my entire life, but have only recently understood the true meaning of being “Born Again”, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible.

STRANGELY, the more vocal that I’ve become, the more ISOLATED I find myself. My former church member “family” has pushed me out of the “family,” labeling me an apostate…And sadly, most of my family have distanced themselves from me, stating that they do not want to hear about the end times because of the anxiety that it gives to them.

What about you, are you having some of the same experiences?

This has caused me to reflect on the peace that I have, and why that is so. Why is everyone else that is around me in my “circle” so stressed out and I am more peaceful than I have ever been in my life? Let’s talk about it.

Here are the facts:

Certainly the 7-year Tribulation Period is filled with some of the most “Terrible” things that will ever happened on this earth. THIS IS WHERE THE ANXIETY COMES FROM.

Fact Number 2 – Christ’s Church, people who have been Born Again, will be taken away from this earth prior to all of these things happening! Do you realize this?

Navigating through the end times is as simple as that! Being Born Again, and having faith in the prophecies that we have been given help us realize that we are not destined for all of these terrible times, but that we will be rescued by a loving God who will be bringing us home, prior to the storm happening.

This is why I have so much peace, and most others in my life are stressed beyond their ability to even function. The solution to all of their anxiety is to simply become Born Again!

Now, if you are one reading this, and you are still living in fear, or stress about the end times, I would like to take a moment and sit with you on the “”Virtual” couch for a moment.

As someone who cares about you DEEPLY, I would like to suggest the following plan to assist you in finding the peace that is out there.

First off, do not consider, read, or even think of any end times information from the arrival of the antichrist through the battle of Armageddon.  This scarry info can all be erased in your mind because YOU WILL NOT EVEN BE HERE when it happens. You are getting all worked up over something that you will not even experience.

Now, the next assignment is to review your “Qualifications” to be included in the Rapture. Will you be included? If the answer is “I Don’t Know,” or “No” this is where the anxiety can come from as well.

So, lets take a moment to review what the scriptures say about those Qualifications:

How to Qualify for the Rapture / Be Born Again (KJV)

  1. Acknowledge You Are a Sinner
    • “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23
Every person must recognize their need for forgiveness and salvation.
  2. Believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God
    • “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”John 3:16
Faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection is the foundation of salvation.
  3. Repent — Turn from Sin and Turn to God
    • “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.”Acts 3:19
Repentance is not merely feeling sorry, but a sincere change of heart and direction toward God.
  4. Confess Jesus as Lord and Believe in Your Heart
    • “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”Romans 10:9–10
  5. Receive the Holy Spirit — Be Born Again
    • “Jesus answered… Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”John 3:3
When a person believes and receives Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within them — this is the “new birth.”
  6. Live by Faith and Remain Watchful
    • “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”Titus 2:13
Those who are born again and walking in faith, covered by Christ’s righteousness, will be taken in the Rapture.

A person qualifies for the Rapture not by church membership or good works, but by faith alone in Jesus Christ, being born again through His Spirit, and living in readiness for His return.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up… to meet the Lord in the air.”1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

STOP thinking that sin will hold you back, for it will not. Our sins are covered by Jesus Christ, so after you repent (directly to Him in prayer) let them go. I’m certain that there might be some sins that we FORGET to repent of, however, those are indeed also covered by Christ’s atonement as well.

A great indicator of this process is to actually witness a change that comes into your life. It might have happened years ago with you without you even knowing what had occurred. Let me share a personal example with you.

When I was younger, I devoted my life to Jesus Christ as a member of the Mormon faith. I learned of Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice. I repented for my sins, and tried to live a life that honored Him. By doing this, I felt a difference come over me. I felt what is referred to as Born Again.

I could also see people in my church that had a “Glow” about them. I felt that they had experienced the same thing that I had felt. Were “We” Born Again as it relates to the Bible? My SOLID answer is, “I Don’t Know.” God is the Judge of that. However, I experienced a notable change in my life by including the Savior Jesus Christ.

There are also some members in my church that I can safely assume that do NOT know Jesus Christ. The believe in the Church as their saving grace, and have little knowledge or commitment towards Jesus Himself, nor have accepted the atonement. They focus upon their works and the ordinances of the church to save them. THESE people I can DEFINITELY SAY that they fit into this scripture:

Matthew 7:21–23 (KJV)
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There were two important things that I have since learned which I feel are important in fully understanding Jesus Christ:

We are saved by GRACE, and this has nothing to do with our works. I once believed that it was up to me to do all that I can first, and then God’s grace would save me. I now know that this belief is actually offensive to God. It has NOTHING to do with me. God saving us is a Gift, and we merely need to accept His gift into our life.

I’ve also learned that any of the teachings, other than what Jesus Christ taught while He was on the earth, should not even be considered as truth. Anything beyond this are the teachings of man. I’ve since Discarded them. This has helped me tremendously.

I will not judge who is saved and who is not, HOWEVER, I will ensure that I am by completing the things that are listed above.

So, are you with me so far? I know that you are =)

Now, you will not worry about anything beyond the arrival of the antichrist. You will also be reassured that you have been Born Again, and will be included in the Rapture. The only thing left now, is for you receive a testimony of the timing of the Rapture, (prior to the start of the 7-year Tribulation Period, right?)

What I am trying to show you now is that the rapture will happen before the Tribulation Period. Let’s not try to find the exact date of the rapture…this might be causing some of your stress. Let that detail go. If you know that God will rescue us from the Tribulation period, the exact date doesn’t matter. We can simply continue living our lives until we are rescued.

Here are the main KJV scriptures that support a pre-tribulation rapture view:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Understanding the “Trumpet” in a Pre-Tribulation Context

Many Bible students who hold to a pre-tribulation rapture see these trumpet verses as referring to a special trumpet of God—distinct from the trumpets of judgment later described in the Book of Revelation.

Different Source

  • The rapture’s trumpet is called “the trump of God” (1 Thess. 4:16).
  • The trumpets in Revelation are blown by angels to unleash judgments (Revelation 8–11).
👉 This distinction shows that the rapture’s trumpet is a call of grace, not a blast of wrath.

Different Purpose

  • The rapture trumpet calls believers up to meet Christ in the air.
  • The Revelation trumpets announce God’s wrath poured out on an unbelieving world.
👉 Therefore, the rapture trumpet removes the church before the trumpet judgments begin.

Different Timing

  • Paul calls the rapture a “mystery” (1 Cor. 15:51)—a truth newly revealed, not known in the Old Testament.
  • The trumpet judgments of Revelation are part of the seven-year Tribulation, already described in prophecy.
👉 This supports that the rapture occurs prior to the Tribulation events.

The Sequence Summarized

  1. Christ descends (not to earth, but in the clouds).
  2. The trumpet of God sounds—a divine signal for the church.
  3. The dead in Christ rise first.
  4. Living believers are caught up (“raptured”) instantly.
  5. The Tribulation begins afterward, as God’s wrath is poured out upon the earth (Revelation 6 onward).

The trumpet of the rapture is a call to gather God’s redeemed before judgment falls.
It’s not one of the seven trumpets of Revelation—it’s a trumpet of deliverance, not destruction.

Let’s keep going…

Revelation 3:10 (KJV)

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

Meaning:

  • Jesus is speaking to the faithful church in Philadelphia, representing believers who remain steadfast and patiently endure in faith.
  • The phrase “keep thee from the hour of temptation” (Greek: ek tēs hōras tou peirasmou) literally means to keep out of or preserve from — not just protect through.
  • Many interpret this as a promise of removal (rapture) before the global testing — the Tribulation period — begins.
  • This verse is a cornerstone for the pre-Tribulation rapture view, showing that true believers will be kept from (not merely through) the worldwide trial coming upon all humanity.

Luke 21:36 (KJV)

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Meaning:

  • Jesus is warning believers to stay spiritually alert and prayerful.
  • Escape all these things” refers to the judgments and tribulations described in the previous verses of Luke 21 (wars, earthquakes, persecution, cosmic signs, etc.).
  • To “stand before the Son of Man” suggests being taken into His presence — consistent with the rapture where believers are caught up to meet Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).

Other Helpful Scriptures

1 Thessalonians 5:9

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The “wrath” here is often interpreted as the coming Tribulation — a time of divine judgment that believers are not destined to endure.

John 14:2–3

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Jesus promises to come and receive His followers to Himself — not to return to earth yet. This aligns with the rapture rather than the Second Coming (which happens at the end of the Tribulation).

 2 Thessalonians 2:6–8

“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed…”

The “one who restrains” (often interpreted as the Holy Spirit working through the Church) must be “taken out of the way” before the Antichrist is revealed — suggesting the Church’s removal precedes the Tribulation.

One Additional Event to Declare the Timing of the Rapture

As you firm up your study of the “Timing of the Rapture” prior to the Tribulation Period happening, go back and read “The Marriage Supper of the Lamb – Understanding Christ’s Coming for His Bride – The Raptureon this blog. This is so very telling to me, and can help you confirm that the rapture will take place prior to the Tribulation Period starting.

Christ is not only coming to rescue us, but He is also bringing us to the “Wedding Feast.” The “Judgment Seat of Christ” which is actually a celebration of the “Crowns” that we will receive.”

I can PROMISE you, as a fellow Brother in Christ, that if you do the things that I have listed here, and receive conformation with God through your prayers, you will find the PEACE that God has promised to give “His Church” in the last days, but knowing of His rescue plan for us..

Let’s take one last look at this scripture. I’ll bet most of you missed something important here:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 (KJV)

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

And this is EXACTLY what has happened to me in my own life. I have found COMFORT through the words of the rapture, have you as well?

John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

🔹 Jesus promises His own peace — a peace that transcends worldly chaos and fear.

Isaiah 26:3

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

🔹 God guarantees perfect peace to those who keep their hearts and minds fixed on Him, even when the world falls apart.

Philippians 4:6–7

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

🔹 This peace isn’t human — it’s divine protection for your heart and mind in times of anxiety and distress.

Psalm 29:11

“The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.”

🔹 A direct promise — God will strengthen and bless His people with peace, even as judgment and tribulation come upon the earth.

John 16:33

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

🔹 Jesus forewarned of tribulation, but also assured His followers that victory and peace are found in Him alone.

Psalm 119:165

“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”

🔹 Those who love God’s Word will remain unshaken, experiencing great peace even when others stumble.

God be with all of you that you might find peace in these last days, in knowing that you will be included in the Rescue Rapture that will soon come, is my prayer.

2 thoughts on “What is the Truth of the “End Times,” – Why It Can Be Too Much – Here is the PEACE that You’ve Been Looking For

  1. I understand and feel your anguish as friends, family and others stray from the truth when it’s presented to them. They end up calling you names and speak badly about you. Here are some comforting scriptures that perhaps will help you as it does to me.

    Matthew 5:11

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

    Luke 6:22

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

    1 Peter 4:14

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

    1 Peter 4:4

Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.

These verses assure believers that being falsely accused, slandered, or named-called is part of the cost of discipleship — and that such suffering is blessed by God.

Keep up the good work. We are in good company. We are reminded by Christ to comfort one another. May you find comfort knowing that He will come for us and take us up to be with him.

    Your brother in Christ,

    Toivo
