What Time of the Day or Night Will the Rapture Occur? Some Important Insight – How to Receive a Ticket for the Event

According to Scripture, the rapture will indeed happen in a single moment in time, everywhere on Earth — but because the world has different time zones, people will experience it at different local times, whether it be day or night there.

Jesus described it this way in Luke 17:34–36 (KJV):

“I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

Notice how He mentions people sleeping (“in bed”) and others working (“in the field” or “grinding”) — meaning it will be nighttime for some and daytime for others when the rapture occurs. This perfectly matches what we know about Earth’s rotation.

The event itself happens simultaneously across the whole world, but people will experience it in their own local moment. Some will see it happen in broad daylight; others will awaken to it in the middle of the night.

It Happens in an Instant

1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump…”

That phrase “in the twinkling of an eye” means it will be instantaneous — faster than a blink. The true believers will be caught up to meet Christ, and those left behind will realize people have simply vanished.

So why is this important?

This information helps us decern the truth from false reports. Should we hear that the rapture has occurred in a school bus in the Midwest, and it has not happened in your own neighborhood at that same time, we can most assuredly conclude that those reports are false.

The rapture will happen simultaneously all over the earth. You will know at the exact same time as others will know. So, what about those who are not followers of Jesus Christ? What will they know and think during this time?

The World Will Be Shocked

Those left behind will be confused, terrified, and searching for explanations. Some may turn to faith immediately; others may accept whatever worldly or governmental explanation is offered (such as a “mass disappearance” theory).

It is hard for me to conceive that the non-believers will not witness the Rapture in some scene. I do not believe that they will see people rise up into the clouds, as the scriptures state that it will happen in “an instant.” But as you realistically think of what will happen at that moment, the results will be catastrophic for the world to witness.

Airplanes will crash, as pilots who are followers of Christ will disappear, leaving no one to fly the plane. There will be massive auto accidents, as again, drivers will vanish. Just think of this…Everything that followers of Christ are doing throughout their day or night will come to a complete halt, as they will no longer be here upon the earth to complete their task.

Will all people hear the trumpet? I believe so, for it will be as a “Shout” from God. All will hear, but not all will understand what they are hearing.

As explained, there will be a moment of chaos where those left behind witness all of the accidents that are happening. Some may actually be in conversation with a believer, only to see them vanish before their eyes. Then, those people will attempt to find an explanation of what they just have witnessed. They will demand answers, which “team satan” is more than ready to provide…Satan’s deception will be introduced, right on schedule.

Can you see how the stage will then be set for the world leaders to introduce a deception such as “Project Blue Beam” or the coming of the “3I/ATLAS Mothership” after the rapture happens? Which ever plan they choose, it will lead people into the belief and “worship” of the new leader, the antichrist, that will then be introduced on the world stage.

Please…PLEASE, do not wait for the rapture to occur before accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and Redeemer. If you wait, YOU will HAVE to endure the 7-Year Tribulation Period, and risk losing your very soul in following satan. Do it NOW…TODAY!!! Time is running out…LITERALLY!  Drop everything right now and give your life to Jesus Christ and become Born Again. Doing so will qualify you for the rapture, to be rescued by Jesus Christ ahead of the 7-year Tribulation period.

I lay awake in my bed thinking about all of the good people in this world who do not believe or follow Jesus Christ, and how they will have to endure such a terrible time to see that they need to give their life to Jesus Christ to become saved. Do it NOW.

Here is the Process of Becoming Saved:

1. Realize you are a sinner.

No one can be saved until they first understand their need for a Savior.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

2. Understand the penalty of sin.

Sin separates us from God, and the penalty is death — not just physical death, but eternal separation.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again.

Jesus took the punishment you deserve and offers you His righteousness in exchange.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9

4. Confess and call upon Him.

Salvation comes through faith — not works. You simply call upon Jesus Christ, believing in your heart that He is Lord and Savior.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13

5. Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

Accept His free gift of grace and eternal life. It’s not earned — it’s received by faith.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9

Simple prayer of faith (example):

“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me, come into my heart, and be my Savior. I trust You and receive Your gift of eternal life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”

By doing this, you will receive the same reward as the thief who was hanging upon the cross with Jesus:

Luke 23:43 (KJV):

“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

This powerful statement was spoken by Jesus while He hung on the cross, in response to the repentant thief beside Him who said, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” (Luke 23:42).

It reveals several beautiful truths:

  • Salvation is by faith alone. The thief could not perform any works, yet his belief in Jesus was enough.
  • Salvation is immediate. Jesus promised him “today” — not after a long wait, but that very day.
  • Paradise is real and present. It is the place where believers go to be with Christ after death (see 2 Corinthians 5:8).
  • God’s mercy is available until the final breath. No one is beyond redemption if they turn to Christ with a sincere heart.

Now, if you are already saved, please share this post with everyone that you can. Make it go VIRAL. You and I can make a difference right now, even though time is short. Let’s do it!!!

  1. If we study the ancient weddings during Jesus time he spoke about them. The father sends the son out at the mid night hour to get the bride. If that is in Jerusalem. And everything is about Isreal.

And ET time in a America is 6 hrs later so it’s 6pm in Atlanta its 5pm CT in st Louis, and then 4pm MT, then 3pm PT. so rapture happens in Jerusalem some mid night but, I will be rapture at 6pm because I’m in Atlanta.

That is how I figure that some will be asleep and some out in the fields. I don’t think Jesus wants us to complicate his word.

  2. I am just asking here. As far as people being raptured, do you think that God would take both pilots on an airplane, rapture them with possibly others in the cabin also and then let the airplane crash ? Are the others in the plane designated as unworthy and most die ? Having a hard time trying to understand this. Why would a loving God do that ? Why would he let the others not raptured die ? Isn’t there a possibility that some of them would turn to Jesus during the tribulation years ? Is that being taken away from them ? There has to be some other explanation other than letting the airplane crash and kill all the rest. I am open to comments.

    1. Yes, There will be people on that plane who will die as a result of the rapture. But what make you think that is would be God’s fault? Every person can come to Christ and be included in the rapture. However, you will find your answer as you study the endtimes. Are you aware that we are living in a “War” of good vs evil? Are you aware that God has had enough with evil, and is preparred to DESTROY it, along with all of those who choose to follow satan. Are you aware that when JESYS CHRIST opens the 4th seal, that 1/4 of all mankind will be killed? Are you aware that whe HE blows the 6th Trumpet that another 1/3 of mankind will be killed? By WHY? There are two reasons that I can think of. First God is destroying evil. Secondly, there will be those “Tribulation Saints” who accept Jesus Christ in the Tribulation Period. God could actually be showing mercy to some of of these who are killed by removing them from the Tribulation. We need to stop seeing death as a “Bad Thing” in the end times. For followers of Christ, death is simply the turning of the page into glorious rest with Jesus Christ in “heaven.” God is a loving God! I invite you to redefine LOVE according to His terms – Isaiah 55:8–9 (KJV):
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. I hope this helps you.
