The World Sleeps While the End Approaches – Have You Noticed Just How Many People are Living Like Nothing is Coming?

Posted June 14, 2025 | End Times Watch

Have you ever looked around and felt like you were watching people sleepwalk through life? Shopping, scrolling, planning vacations, chasing careers—while the world quietly but unmistakably edges closer to prophetic fulfillment?

It’s as if most of humanity is numb to the signs. We are living in the last days, and yet so few seem to notice.

Jesus warned us this would happen.

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
—Matthew 24:37 (KJV)

Back in Noah’s day, people were eating, drinking, marrying, and living life as if judgment was a myth. But judgment came. The flood was real. And only those who listened to God’s warning were saved.

Today, it’s the same.

Prophecies Are Unfolding—But Who’s Paying Attention?

  • Nations are aligning exactly as foretold in Ezekiel 38.
  • Peace treaties in the Middle East mirror the prophesied groundwork for a false peace (Daniel 9:27).
  • Global technologies now make the mark of the beast a logistical reality.
  • The world is plunging into lawlessness, immorality, and spiritual confusion—just as Paul predicted (2 Timothy 3:1–5).

And yet… most people are too distracted by everyday life to see it.

They say:

  • “Things have always been this way.”
  • “I’ll worry about God later.”
  • “I don’t want to live in fear.”

But friend, this isn’t about fear. It’s about truth. It’s about urgency.

“You’ve Got Time” – The Devil’s Favorite Lie

Satan isn’t always shouting. Sometimes, he just whispers:
“Relax… you’ve got time.”

But that’s the lie keeping millions asleep. You don’t know how much time you have. None of us do. The trumpet could sound today.

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
—Matthew 24:44 (KJV)

Wake Up! The Hour is Late

This is your wake-up call. This isn’t just another blog post. This is the Holy Spirit trying to shake you and say:

  • Get right with God.
  • Share the Gospel.
  • Prepare your heart.
  • Don’t live like this world is your home—because it isn’t.

Jesus is coming back. The clock is ticking. And while the world keeps sleeping, let us be the watchmen on the wall, crying out with love and boldness.

“Blow ye the trumpet… for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand.”
—Joel 2:1 (KJV)

What Can You Do Right Now?

  1. Turn to Jesus. Repent. Believe the Gospel. Surrender your life to Him.
  2. Stay in the Word. The Bible is our survival manual in these times.
  3. Tell others. Even if they roll their eyes—plant the seeds.
  4. Live for eternity, not for this temporary world.

People do not like change, especially when it comes to the thought of “Moving.” Most people are very comfortable, thinking that this earth is their home. Realizing that we will soon be moving to a new “Home” perhaps is just something that they choose not to think about.

But to some of us, we are anticipating a glorious move “UP” compared to this life. Heaven is not just a distant hope—it is our future home, filled with love, light, and life in the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that Heaven is a place where there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more death (Revelation 21:4). It is a place of perfect peace and joy, where every tear will be wiped away and every wound healed. For those who have placed their faith in Christ, this is not a fairy tale—it is a promise. Jesus Himself said, “I go to prepare a place for you… that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2-3). He desires to be with us for eternity.

In Heaven, we will finally be free from the burdens of this world. There will be no more temptation, no more fear, and no more sin. Imagine waking up each day in the glory of God’s presence, walking in radiant gardens, hearing the songs of angels, and worshiping the Lamb who gave His life for us. The streets are paved with gold, and the gates are made of pearl—not just to show beauty, but to reflect the overwhelming worth and purity of our new life with God (Revelation 21:21). But the greatest treasure is not the surroundings—it’s being with Jesus, face to face. We will know Him as He knows us, and we will never be separated from His love again.

This is the home our hearts have longed for all our lives—a place where every longing is fulfilled, where we are finally and forever safe, and where love reigns. All who trust in Jesus will live in this Kingdom, not as visitors or servants, but as beloved children of God. And we will dwell with Him forever. That day is coming soon. Let your heart be filled with hope—our true home is not of this world, but is being prepared by the One who loves us more than we can imagine.

While the world sleeps, be awake.
While others drift, stay grounded in Christ.
While time runs out, make every moment count.

Jesus is coming soon.
Are you ready?
